I almost returned this as I thought it was too flat and not stable enough, but I was in tears from the pain of severe cervical disk compression and desperate so I stuck with it. I use it with another foam pillow under it for more height, and initially forced myself to sleep only on my back. After 48 hours the pain was nearly gone. A week later I am pain free and can also sleep on my side with this pillow now. (NEVER sleep on your stomach if you have neck pain). This pillow absolutely saved me from a trip to the doctor and strong pain meds. It looks weird, but it is superior to the neck pillows with the rolls for neck support on the ends. And at this price, get two and one for all your friends. I will be traveling with this pillow. Highly recommended for neck and shoulder pain.

This pillow is way more softer than firm. I was skeptical when it arrived but after sleeping on it for a few nights, I feel great about my purchase. You sleep pretty level with the mattress and your head is not as high as I anticipated. The quality and construction is great - I would recommend as long as you are not looking for a firm pillow.

I tried giving this pillow several weeks, but it only seems to continue to make things worse. I’d been dealing with neck pain and hoping this pillow would help make things better. Instead, it has made my neck pain even worse. Would give zero stars if I could and do not recommend. UPDATE - although the product did not work for me, customer service was quick to reach out and issue a refund. I cannot recommend this product but I can say that they were very easy to work with when I was unsatisfied with the product.

Pillow is designed well, had a second one ordered ,had to cancel ,first one was for my wife ,she couldn't use it because it had a chemical smell, washed cover but smell was coming from from pillow, I used it and like it, put a pillow cover and pillow case over that ,she is going to try again, if it works for her I will order another for myself.

So maybe should be 5 stars. It is a little firm and I wish it was an inch or two thicker. It does support your neck. I also wish the "ear holes" were a little bit lower. :)

I was skeptical at first, but after my first night I am a believer ! This was my first night without waking up with neck pain ! It wasn’t too stiff or too soft. Honestly if your tired of trying conventional pillows, this is worth a try for sure!
