Updating my original review: Tablet received ahead of due delivery date and looked great. There IS a basic user guide, but be careful not to throw away when unpacking as it was small and inserted inside some of the safety packaging boxing. Generally, set-up was incredibly basic and easy. I had an initial problem in that there was no subsequent product/activation key for Windows 11 and was worried that after a week of nightmares with Amazon (on an entirely different/separate purchase) that this would continue the frustration headaches. However, not so.... CHUWI representatives were great and immediately helpful and supplied me with the activation code within a few hours of request. I mentioned that the charger seemed slightly bent/loose and they immediately agreed to send me a replacement without needing the old one first. I may have some further issues with that charger/charger port, but these seem like isolated/unfortunate problems rather than inherent faults of the tablet or CHUWI and so far I've been very impressed with CHUWI's attitude to aftercare. (Unlike some sellers, there does seem to be a desire to quickly sort out any problems if and when they occur). The tablet is relatively speedy for general use, the screen is hi-def and nice and the built-in stand works well. The touch-sensitive screen is *very* touch sensitive for fingers/palm if you're needing to be accurate, so I'd recommend using a mouse and keyboard (my earliest regret is not purchasing the bundle with keyboard and stylus during Prime Day which I think offers even better value). Despite some problems, I'd general I'd recommend both the tablet for use and the company for its after-care. ... show more

Had a chance to play with it for just a few hours over a day and a half, so the review will doubtlessly change, but, these are quick takeaways. 1. The first thing I checked was whether you could charge the tablet via USB-c port. That does not appear possible (at least it does not work on my end.) If so, it's not really a "full featured" port. That's a bit disappointing. 2. The tablet is a bit heavier than I expected and the battery life somewhat worse than I had hoped. 3. The tablet has a full sized 3.0 USB A port. This is very helpful. 4. The screen is a good deal better than I had expected. 5. I was a bit worried that the processor might be visibly underpowered. But it seems decent enough. You won't be able to push it as you would a real "work" computer, but you can do most things you'd want to do, including remote into your work computer from where it's convenient. PS. Very oddly, I did not see the "Windows not Activated" message until 3 months later (the seller's email not long after the purchase mentioned that, if Windows is not activated, they'll send the correct code after I send them SN, so I must have checked on that before, but whatevers..., and I had a few things going on that I didn't get to use this for its intended function for a few months...) Hopefully, they won't say I'm telling them this too late, but it very odd that this was not obvious from get go.) PPS. Activation problem solved. At least in my experiences so far, Chuwi CS people have been generally friendly, helpful, and prompt. PPPS. There seems to be an odd contrast between Chuwi CS people whom you contact via amazon (who have been great) and their official web site. The latter seem slow and not particularly able (I wound up contacting via both and I got a reply from the web site contact (after the CS person contacted via amazon was already able to solve the problem) asking which country I was in. I send a reply and I keep getting the same email over and over again, with the reply I sent not registering on their end. Whenever possible, use amazon to contact Chuwi (they will send you an email via amazon if there's anything they can do to help soon after you buy the item). You can reply to it and they'll get back to you quickly and responsively. Their web site seems, eh, a bit of work in progress. ... show more

It's a very nice sized tablet with a large 12" screen. Touch screen works good, graphics isn't too bad. Audio is very hard to hear, even at the loudest setting. Overall operation is noticeably sluggish. I purchased the Intel Celeron version, it's cheaper. If you do a lot of computing, I'd recommend the Intel Core i5 instead. It's much faster. ... show more

The screen of the tablet is amazing. I don't even want to buy a screen protector because it's so good that I don't want to make it worse. The battery life is very good. I don't use the tablet for the gaming, and battery lasts for more than 5 hours of browsing, playing videos, and spreadsheet work. I bought a mouse and keyboard to make life easier. The tablet is serving as my main computer most of the time. I contacted support a couple of time with the questions about upgrade of the hard drive and other stuff, they replied in a couple of hours and apologized for late reply due to the time difference. It's honestly good for anyone getting into digital art. It's very responsive, it has a nice little weight to it and it's not for gaming but it is for 2d animation and making illustrations. It may start running slow at some points but give it some time and it can pick it's speed back up for a tablet that runs windows, I really enjoy this product! ... show more
