After having horses for 30 years I live these! I have so many deer in my area they cause me to replace insulators all the time. These have worked out so well they don’t break the minute they get pressure from knocking wire or poly tape out. They seem to unlatch so all I have to do is walk around and snap them back. Much better than having to buy new insulators all the time! They are made really well!

they fit snugly on the t-posts and securely grip the hot tape, mission accomplished. And, by the by, far less $ than the Z-brand. For something that degrades over a year or two from UV light, saving $ on these is a big plus.

These have a rather small latch that pops open and releases the tape when the bear or deer get involved. I didn't like that. I found them a bit too brittle when cool and some broke during installation in the morning, at around sixty degrees F. When it warmed up into the seventies they all were going on smoothly, so install them when its warm. I wouldn't buy these ones again unless I was using very wide spark conductor tape. They will accept 2'' wide easily.

We have a big Jersey cow who was constantly pushing and leaning on our fence so hard that she was bending posts and crushing wire. We decided to add an electric tape line and used these Chunful T-Post Poly Tape Insulators, and they have made a huge difference. Since installing them with electric tape, she has mostly stopped putting pressure on the fence, and everything is staying straighter and more secure. The bright yellow clips are made from strong, weather-resistant material and hold the tape tight without sagging or slipping. They snap onto the T-posts firmly and are easy to install with no tools needed, which was great because we had a lot of posts to cover. They keep the tape evenly spaced and in position really well, even when she tests the fence. We’ve had heavy rain and wind since installing them, and they are still holding strong with no cracking or stretching. The large flange design also prevents arcing and keeps the tape appropriately insulated. Overall, for the price, this pack of 100 is a great value, especially if you’re fencing a larger area. They’ve made our electric tape setup much more reliable and helped protect our fencing investment. Highly recommended for anyone needing to reinforce fencing for bigger animals.
