I searched for weeks, ordered several different sling bags, thinking I could get away with spending less, and none were worth it. They all got returned because they were too small, or the opening was too small, or they didn’t sit right, or the fabric felt cheap, or any host of other reasons. I initially got the Chrome Kadet Mini, thinking that the full size would be too big, I ordered the Full Size just to see and the mini got returned straight away. The Kadet is the perfect size, the seatbelt buckle is kind of cool, but unnecessary. The straps afford the opportunity to cinch the bag up for every day use of expand it if I need to pack more stuff for the day. I thought I wanted a bag with more built in organization, but I don’t miss it. I just ordered a little pouch thing that I stash some cash, and a pocket knife in. Maybe a few more built in slots for pens and a knife would be nice now that I think about it, but the other features balance that out. It’s virtually water proof, for stuck in a downpour and everything stayed dry. I get compliments on it all the time. It has a lifetime warranty too. Highly recommend. ... show more

I ride my motorcycle everywhere and tailor my tagalongs as needed. Few days’ worth shopping trip, storage box. Smaller shopping trip, backpack. Just riding around with no real destination but MIGHT need to pick up a few things? Kadet sling bag. There are more times where I’ve struggled to figure out what to fill it up with than actually reached the limit. The auxiliary strap makes a world of difference compared to most crossbody bags without. It never bounces around, shifts, unzips itself, or otherwise becomes a distraction. ... show more

Purchased this back in 2020 and use it often when I need to carry around my belongings to work or when I am out and about and want to travel light. I find that this is a great little bag with the caveat that i got it on sale. Would I pay full retail price for this? Absolutely not. And that is not because of the quality or whatever, but you can find bags that are extremely similiar to this for a fraction of the cost. So in terms of value, this gets 4/5 rather than 5 stars. "Iconic" buckle is a cool novelty, but it can be annoying at times due to the weight. If you're not careful it can scratch things, eg your car or cabinet. The front material on the face of the "Night" Model scuffs up fairly easily and can be a real eyesore. It is capable of holding Ipad mini, a really compact folded jacket, a 16oz water bottle. Glad I got this on sale for $76. It serves my needs for work, looks good, and is convenient. ... show more

I’m a huge backpack person, I must have at least 8 or more but this backpack is my favorite. It fits literally everything I need. I honestly can say that it’s perfect. The only thing I dislike is that it goes over my left shoulder and that’s it. Everything from the durability to the space in this backpack is amazing. This is my fourth Chrome bag (messenger, backpack, and camera bags) and there’s a reason I keep coming back: durability. My messenger bag is almost a decade old and hardly shows wear. The Kadet is my new go-to for any quick trip. Just used it for a two-day convention and it outperformed expectations: it’s comfortable and everything I need is accessible. I love this sling! I travel a lot in the USA and overseas. Since I bout this bag, it has become my favorite. I can fit my Samsung S8 Ultra I. The interior pocket with my folio case, fits better with the keyboard case (not in the partitioned pocket, that will fit Ipad pro 11" though). All my edc can fit. I now also keep my Wandrd fanny pack attached to the strap if I need a little extra (only when I carry the S8). This bag is so comfortable. I am 6'2" weighing in at 250lbs, and I love the way this looks when I carry it. Love Chrome products I always use a mix of this and my Wandrd bags. ... show more
