I bought this chair for my office; I like to have a comfortable place to work. It fits perfectly in my office, it was SUPER easy to assemble, and it looks so classy. The chair is very comfortable to sit in and is perfect for my little "reading nook." The assemble took less than 5 minutes and the instructions were very intuitive. I received this chair yesterday and assembled it today, upon first impression, it seems sturdy and long lasting, but if there are any issues down the road, I'll update the review. First of all, if you are a person over the height of 5'6", you might want to stop reading now and look elsewhere as this chair is quite small and not built for tall or heavyweight people. I just received two of these chairs and wanted to share with you the pros/cons listed below: PROS: the chair(s) arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and very well packaged so kudos to the seller!, it was super easy to put together (5 minutes) and required no tools at all--it came in 4 parts which included (1) the back of the chair (slides right into the base of the chair--easy!), (2) the base of the chair (the legs--part 3--a pack of four comes in a plastic bag in a zippered compartment underneath the chair base), and finally, (4) the seat cushion. The chair is very sturdy and the legs are strong and screw into the bottom base of the chair easily. The chair looks great, nice color, and is well made. Now to the CONS: the material is soft and warm to the touch but doesn't feel like regular chair fabric, it feels more like car seat fabric which is not terrible but just odd (to me at least), the chair is really small which is a pro and a con, pro because it fits beautifully into small spaces and is suitable for people 5'6" or under (I am in that height category so good for me), con because even for a small person like me I cannot rest my head on the back of the chair and the chair is quite stiff so its forces you to sit with good posture (not comfy but bearable), the seat cushion is also stiff and has no 'give' to it so the overall feel of sitting in this chair is more like a doctor's office chair (great for a short period of sitting only). I like the chairs and will keep them but, to be honest, I think for the price I would have been better off buying from a used furniture store where I could try out the chairs. However, if you want a good, strong, sturdy chair that looks great, fits into a small space, and only needs to serve the purpose of short-term sitting or just to be decorative then these are not bad. I am curious to see how they hold up over time and if they become more comfortable as they wear in. I hope this helps you to make an informed decision. ... show more

I have 4 of these chairs in my sitting room and adore them! They are SUPER comfortable, look amazing, seem to be high quality and we’re super easy to assemble. My only negatives would be there is a seam in the back that I thought would drive me nuts but I don’t notice it. And I’m worried that over time the fabric may peel and noodle. But for the cost so far they are super worth it! I’ve had them 2 months and so far so good! I sit in them all the time and prefer them to my couch. ... show more

I didn't have high expectations for this chair, but I needed a simple chair for my home office. Something low/affordable in price and at least marginally comfortable. I looked at furniture stores and everything was just, ok, but much higher in price than I wanted to pay (3 times the price of this chair). Fortunately, I stumbled across the Christopher Knight Collection on Amazon. At first I was thinking that it couldn't be the same Christopher Knight/Peter Brady, but it was. He had some really cute chairs, very affordable prices, and I actually had a tough time picking one because his variety in style and color were so great! I chose this one (pictured) and am so glad I did. It goes well with my office decor/style, was very easy to assemble and is surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. I really like it! This was a beautiful chair however it didn't work for us because the seat depth was too deep. The seller should really add the seat width dimensions to this product in their description. It would have prevented us from buying and then having to return.

The chair came slightly damaged by shipping. However, the chair itself is just nuts! It’s got ‘made in China’ stamps, the leather is slightly torn by the seems and the studs are crooked so there’s also a weird gap on one side in the back. I am just disappointed because I thought Christopher would have good stuff. I should send it back. It’s a great concept in terms of design and the leather is nice for the price and it’s comfortable.
