I pulled the bag out of the box about 2 hours ago, so this is a brief initial review with more to follow once it’s fully grown and covered. The packaging was in mint condition and arrived far faster than expected. Very pleased with those aspects of the purchase. Instructions were basic and easy to understand. My initial experience has been very different than some reviews I read. Some complained of a smell. I didn’t have that. Some talked of having to break apart the foam. I didn’t have that either. The instant the plastic bag was removed, it started expanding. It doubled in size in 10 minutes. I flipped it over about a dozen times and allowed the kids to beat it up a little. It has now been 2 hours and it’s measuring 7 ft long and 3 ft in height. The instructions state it will continue to expand for the next 4 hours or so. Further, it could be a day or two before it reaches capacity. If that happens, this thing will be enormous! Some reviews complained of needing to add more foam. I can’t imagine that being necessary, but we’ll see as it gets frequent use. Some reviews mentioned the cover “bleeding” into the carpet/floor. I didn’t take a chance with that and immediately threw the cover in the washing machine on cold/delicate. Instructions say to spot clean with cold, but I believe a delicate wash cycle will be fine. I need to put the cover on in 3 hours or so, which could be interesting given how quickly the bag expanded. Again, this is just a quick initial review. Thus far, everything has been spot-on and it’s just a waiting game. It’s already very comfortable and I’m beyond pleased. UPDATE: Still very pleased. No bleeding issues or the need to fluff as often as some have reported. Two of my kids (8 & 10) have slept on it and slept extremely well. I have crashed it in for 2-3 hour stretches and could easily get an afternoon nap accomplished. Meets and exceeds our needs.

I live in a college apartment of 6 guys and we all pitched in to get it. This will comfortably seat 2 people laying down although there's not really any room for a third, which is fine. Our liner did come with a small hole but we patched it before putting the cover on. Took a while to expand but we also spent time breaking all the clumps up to speed it up -it helps. Did smell a little bit, but that never bothered us... More of a new car kind of smell. For anyone concerned about the crunchy plastic-ours had a bit that crinkled a little, but I took the few pieces I found out through the hole and haven't heard anything since. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Wasn't expecting a lovesac, but certainly got something everyone wants to use every day. Very comfortable to sleep on or watch movies. For the price you really get a lot. Anything listed above never bothered any of us which is why 5 stars is a no brainer for us.

After reading a bunch of “sofa bean bad” reviews I settled on this one. I chose it because almost all of these under $300 had reviews saying there was not enough stuffing. This one had some good reviews, some bad, and was on sale at the time. I bought it with the intention of adding more stuffing. Upon opening there was a slight chemical odor, however it was not overpowering, and went away after several days. I love that the outer cover can be taken off and washed. Speaking of the cover, it feels tough, and is very comfortable to the touch. Really the things dragging this down are the amount of stuffing, and the size description. I am 6’4” and the bag is just large enough for me to lounge on. I bottom out very easily with the factory only stuffing. My kids love this thing, and it is great for them. If I was just taking them into consideration I would give this 5 stars. We use it in our family/theater room and it works great for another spot to lounge other than the couch. Overall satisfied with the product.

Really a nice item for the price (bit over 100 when we bought the 8 foot version in red). People love it when visiting. Very easy to take a nap on this - hard not to. The 8 footer fully contains a 5'9" adult with room to spare. It took a bit of time to break up the memory foam chunks and load them in the bag but it was easy enough. My hands were tired from breaking up the chunks of memory foam but I think I was being impatient. If you just load it and let it expand over night I think you do not need to break up every piece. Some comments said it was flat but that is very simple to cure like fluffing a pillow. I just rotate it 45 degrees and push it down a bit to break it up and then rotate again and do the same. In about 30 seconds it is fully and huge again ready for some to drop into. The 8 footer seems to be 8 feet at longest point to longest point and not 8 feet from seem to seem (that would make it 10 feet plus end to end). But it is huge.

After looking for an inexpensive but nice bean bag for awhile. I was pretty excited when I saw this. It had what seemed like sufficient reviews, and it was pretty low cost when compared to other brands. I had that new buyer excitement when I got home. When I finally saw the package it was thoroughly beat up. I was very disappointed. We live in a nice area and haven’t had any trouble with packages before. I was still hopeful I would love the product, as it was still fully sealed. After unpacking I found there was NO COVER. I cannot express how let down I felt. I’m currently discussing with product support to see why they didn’t send a cover and if they will send a new one. Other than this major issue, the bean bag interior cover and memory foam fill seems adequate for the price point. I will stress though, it’s not nearly as soft or full feeling as I hoped it would be and seems a tad lumpy in certain parts. The foam fill is definitely not FULL but I may just have to purchase some extra memory foam fill shreds later to give it that extra true comfort feel. I am hopeful the company will send a cover as advertised. Will update this review with results. 05/25/2020 Update Still no response from companies product support, although I did simultaneously (exact same time stamp) receive automated support emails stating that someone would review with me soon, and some other strange (Turkish?/unknown strange server address) company click-bait advertisement to my email with the same time stamp. I have a sneaking suspicion the product company likely has an email harvest and redistribution set up directly to their email support. Not a great start...

It was a bit hard to put together with me making the mistake of removing the “innerskeleton” bag, so I can’t take off the cover. But, I was able to put it together myself. My Mom, cat, and I love it. It can even be used as a bed - my Mom loved sleeping on it. Now my cat sleeps on it. I have it in my office, so when I want to wind down after a meeting or have an intense task to complete, I can just sit on it and work. It looks great with my office decor. Very comfy.

This beanbag was such a fun idea for my front room that is always full of teenagers and when they aren't occuping, nappy tv watching parents are. I have a couch that isn't the best for comfort but cut looks so I hoped to go out on the limb and win with this bean bag but I am really just disappointed in my purchase a little over a month later. Its way too heavy, to move around effortless is a joke. My zipper for the cover already ripped the heck out the first two weeks I hadit, and its not rough housed on, they are teenagers not zoo animals, they known how-to act properly inside/on furniture so that isn't the issue there. The materials inside the bag itself they are already breaking down so badly that ill need to replace them here soon. Overall pretty disappointed in my decision here. 200 bucks kinda went down the toilet.

I purchased the 8-foot charcoal lounger and I love it. I have some fairly serious breathing issues due to allergies, scarred lungs, and oddly enough very strong acid reflux. Some nights I have to sleep sitting up somewhat for any one of those or a combination of those reasons. This lounger allows me to do without difficulty and with extreme comfort. As others have noted, there is a little smell with the foam until it airs out. It smelled fine by day 2. I've not had any issue with the color on the cover rubbing off. The only issue I had was the zipper came broken, but customer support sent me a replacement very, very quickly. I have no complaints with the service or the product. Mine never expanded to the 6' width, which is fine by me. It's super comfortable and is ~8'x4.5-5', depending on how I have it positioned and fluffed up. Definitely, definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for beanbag lounger.
