I pulled the bag out of the box about 2 hours ago, so this is a brief initial review with more to follow once it’s fully grown and covered. The packaging was in mint condition and arrived far faster than expected. Very pleased with those aspects of the purchase. Instructions were basic and easy to understand. My initial experience has been very different than some reviews I read. Some complained of a smell. I didn’t have that. Some talked of having to break apart the foam. I didn’t have that either. The instant the plastic bag was removed, it started expanding. It doubled in size in 10 minutes. I flipped it over about a dozen times and allowed the kids to beat it up a little. It has now been 2 hours and it’s measuring 7 ft long and 3 ft in height. The instructions state it will continue to expand for the next 4 hours or so. Further, it could be a day or two before it reaches capacity. If that happens, this thing will be enormous! Some reviews complained of needing to add more foam. I can’t imagine that being necessary, but we’ll see as it gets frequent use. Some reviews mentioned the cover “bleeding” into the carpet/floor. I didn’t take a chance with that and immediately threw the cover in the washing machine on cold/delicate. Instructions say to spot clean with cold, but I believe a delicate wash cycle will be fine. I need to put the cover on in 3 hours or so, which could be interesting given how quickly the bag expanded. Again, this is just a quick initial review. Thus far, everything has been spot-on and it’s just a waiting game. It’s already very comfortable and I’m beyond pleased. UPDATE: Still very pleased. No bleeding issues or the need to fluff as often as some have reported. Two of my kids (8 & 10) have slept on it and slept extremely well. I have crashed it in for 2-3 hour stretches and could easily get an afternoon nap accomplished. Meets and exceeds our needs. ... show more

I live in a college apartment of 6 guys and we all pitched in to get it. This will comfortably seat 2 people laying down although there's not really any room for a third, which is fine. Our liner did come with a small hole but we patched it before putting the cover on. Took a while to expand but we also spent time breaking all the clumps up to speed it up -it helps. Did smell a little bit, but that never bothered us... More of a new car kind of smell. For anyone concerned about the crunchy plastic-ours had a bit that crinkled a little, but I took the few pieces I found out through the hole and haven't heard anything since. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Wasn't expecting a lovesac, but certainly got something everyone wants to use every day. Very comfortable to sleep on or watch movies. For the price you really get a lot. Anything listed above never bothered any of us which is why 5 stars is a no brainer for us. ... show more

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this product. The outside material has been very sturdy and comfortable. Everything was decently protected in the box that it shipped in. The only drawback from giving this a full 5 star review is that the foam insert seems like it is undersized. I ordered the 8 foot bag, but the insert was smaller and looked to be suited for a 6 foot bag. After letting it expand for 2 days without sitting on it and fluffing it a couple of times a day, it is at best 60% stuffed and the bag is very loose. It is good enough for our children to sit on without sinking to the floor, but anyone over 100lbs will sink to the floor immediately. We filled the gaps with an old comforter so that it was more filled and comfortable for adults to sit on as well. ... show more

This is a great bean bag. The length is the same as my queen mattress and the width is about a foot less. The fill is very generous and definately was 75lbs or more. I am a smaller woman so it was a bit hard for me to move around but with a bit of leverage I managed. The bean bag does need to outgas as it has an odor out of the bag and I will update with how long that takes to fully go away. Only major problem that I have found is that my dogs like the bean bag as much as I do but I have had no problem with me and my four cocker spaniels all laying on the bean bag at the same time with plenty of room. Finally uploaded a picture after getting nauseated while reading five star reviews. This pic is what my floor looks like after making several cleaning attempts over the course of YEARS. There's NO way that ANYONE can buy this item and honestly give it a good review after using for some time. ____________________________________ UPDATE: After having this thing for a few months, I regret to inform that the color bleeds like nobody's business. My white vinyl flooring and walls are almost as blue as the bean bag itself. Now I have to figure out how to remove the stains to avoid a bill from the landlord. BUYERS, BEWARE! ____________________________________ It's ok. I can't say anything negative about it. Although I do wish it had more "filling" as it's a bit too mushy for my liking. And there's no way this thing is eight feet long. I ordered an eight footer but I can lay almost entirely across it. For that reason alone, I'd return it if it were worth the hassle.
