Description

Hatsune Miku was the first Vocaloid developed by Crypton Future Media after they handled the release of the Yamaha vocal Meiko and Kaito. The name of "Hatsune Miku" was conceived soon after the Vocaloid 2 announcements, when an English and Japanese vocal were developed for the character. The intended design was delayed and later used for Megurine Luka instead. Miku was intended to be the first of a series of Vocaloids called the "Character Vocal Series", which included Kagamine Rin/Len and Megurine Luka. Each had a particular concept and vocal direction.

    • brings color to my boring dull desk (good)
maybe its because everything around her is a dark color but hey that makes her really stand out. the figure itself is a nice size and the box is really pretty too, mine kinda wobbles on her stand but it doesn't matter, no problems whatsoever with her. this was my first figure ever and im glad i made this purchase because this led me to buy another miku later. 100% worth the money ... show more

this figure is absolutely GORGEOUS i love her so much. the box DID come damaged, but the figure was perfectly intact. it was difficult to put the pigtails in, and one still isnt fully in but all together its worth the price :3

    • Cute figurine!
Though this figure is very cute, I was a tiny bit disappointed with the quality. It appears to be a legitimate Taito figure, but there are definitely a few tiny scuffs on her hair and shirt that appear to be painting flaws (I was able to get a couple of them off, but there are a few still there). The tips of her hair are also a little more opaque than I was expecting and it's hard to see one of the cherry blossoms painted on her hair. The box was also all sorts of dented but that doesn't bother me and the figure was fine. I still do really like this figure and I'm happy to have it (the pose is super cute), but it would've been nice if it had been a bit better quality-wise. Still a pretty good purchase for the price. Good for those just starting to collect! ... show more

I have been eyeing this figure for months now and finally decided to get it, and I'm so glad I did! She is so cute and definitely worth the money. My only complaints are that there is a small scuff on the base that won't rub off and one of her pigtails was super difficult to push in all the way. The scuff isn't super visible unless you are looking at the figure closely, so I don't mind it too much. ... show more

    • thumbs up from me!
Writing this review on my computer. To say the least it came in great shape, and bigger than I expected! It's about half the size of my lava-lamp, and it's not flimsy. It gorgeous, matches my other decor and I love the detail on the pigtails. (Solid pink to transparent dark red) It was easy to assemble, the left pigtail gave me some trouble though. The fine bits are delicate on the face, so make sure to be patient with the pigtails lol ... show more
