The media could not be loaded. We purchased 2 of the 7 foot bean/foam bags 1-2 months ago, I believe this color was called sea blue. They are very heavy but I’m 5’2 and 120 lbs and I can flip them and drag them if they need moved. I think they are fairly easy to take the cover off to wash and put back on. When these arrived I did break apart and fluff the foam in the enclosed bag then I let it air out so the foam could return to normal size. Also I did was the covers so they were clean before I put them on the bag of foam. We love these so much we actually ordered a third that should be arriving in the next week or so. Only suggestion I do have if you purchase one is when you get off the bag flip it and fluff it a little so it’s not all pressed down the next time you use it. ... show more

I pulled the bag out of the box about 2 hours ago, so this is a brief initial review with more to follow once it’s fully grown and covered. The packaging was in mint condition and arrived far faster than expected. Very pleased with those aspects of the purchase. Instructions were basic and easy to understand. My initial experience has been very different than some reviews I read. Some complained of a smell. I didn’t have that. Some talked of having to break apart the foam. I didn’t have that either. The instant the plastic bag was removed, it started expanding. It doubled in size in 10 minutes. I flipped it over about a dozen times and allowed the kids to beat it up a little. It has now been 2 hours and it’s measuring 7 ft long and 3 ft in height. The instructions state it will continue to expand for the next 4 hours or so. Further, it could be a day or two before it reaches capacity. If that happens, this thing will be enormous! Some reviews complained of needing to add more foam. I can’t imagine that being necessary, but we’ll see as it gets frequent use. Some reviews mentioned the cover “bleeding” into the carpet/floor. I didn’t take a chance with that and immediately threw the cover in the washing machine on cold/delicate. Instructions say to spot clean with cold, but I believe a delicate wash cycle will be fine. I need to put the cover on in 3 hours or so, which could be interesting given how quickly the bag expanded. Again, this is just a quick initial review. Thus far, everything has been spot-on and it’s just a waiting game. It’s already very comfortable and I’m beyond pleased. UPDATE: Still very pleased. No bleeding issues or the need to fluff as often as some have reported. Two of my kids (8 & 10) have slept on it and slept extremely well. I have crashed it in for 2-3 hour stretches and could easily get an afternoon nap accomplished. Meets and exceeds our needs. ... show more

So, this thing is huge, easily a 3 person seater. When i opened the box i thought "i didn't order a bed", but it's packed so the foam is in one sheet in many, many layers of plastic. Assemble wasn't that confusing, figuring out how to get it out of the plastic without damaging the bag was a little tricky, but the foam. Oh the foam. It says in the instructions, "break up large pieces". Well it's all one large piece, because it's been compressed for who knows how long. So i was sitting there, grabbing, shaking, breaking it off bit by bit, this large flat piece of compressed foam. If you have kids this would be a fun activity for them, but as a single guy it took a bit of gumption and perseverance to turn that slab into floating parts that reassembled a cylinder. Overall, after a 1 hour workout i got it done. I'm not saying the larger bits won't naturally break up as they expand, but i took no chances. FYI. ... show more

Story Time: I ordered this after my last order of a bean bag chair failed miserably... We ordered the "Amazon Basics Memory Foam Filled Bean Bag Lounger with Microfiber Cover - 7', Black", which was supposed to be a gift for my kids for the basement gameroom that I just got done making. I ordered on 12-9-22, with the confirmation that it would arrive by Christmas. Got an update, package shipped, estimated arrival, 12/22, Awesome. Tracking Updated, it magically arrived on 12/19... even better! My wife calls me at work, "uh... we have a problem... it's got someone else's shipping info on the box." (for reference, I live in Pittsburgh, PA.) "The person named on this shipping label says Laurence ******* in Pheonix..." Me: "OKaaaay... well, open the box." Wife: "Yup, SofaSac, Laurence in Pheonix, also it says that it's a different size and color." Me: "Open the thing that it's in, maybe it was placed in the wrong box?" Wife: "Nope, it's an olive green, and 4ft... and has a SofaSac label on it" Me: "OKAY, back to the drawing board... how quickly can we get another one...?" This then led me down to this brand, specifically the "Christopher Knight Home Traditional David 7 Foot Bean Bag, Black", order confirmed that I would receive it by 12/24. I ordered it on 12/19... tracking provided, and told me that it would arrive 12/22. 12/22 came and went... updated to 12/23... updated to 12/24 with a note that if it didn't arrive by end of the business day on 12/24, I could cancel the order. At 2:23am on 12/25/22, I canceled the order. SO... I had to explain to my children on Christmas Morning that Santa has a late delivery... of a yet to be found bean bag chair. I wish that this was a positive review... and a nice pic of the kids enjoying this bean bag chair... however... it's a word to the wise... *and maybe even you, Laurence of Pheonix...* Sometimes, people goof... we're all human, and the holidays are rough on everyone. A late/delayed/wrong bean bag chair is not the end of the world. ... show more
