I purchased the 48 inch white faux fur xmas tree skirt and it's a great material. There seems to be no shedding. This will look great under my tree. I do recommend this product.

Pros: -Incredibly soft -Prompt Delivery At 48 inches it's a good size to surround our 6.5 foot noble tree but if the tree had a larger base it wouldn't have been a great fit. -Nicely catches the pine needles that fall from the tree and it's easy to pick it up and take it outside to shake the needles off which saves us time and having a mess in our home. -The top of the rug is a short soft shag. -The bottom of the rug is a white felt, I wish it was shag on Both sides but that probably keeps it from slipping around. -I'm not sure how well it washes yet Cons: The Velcro straps that are on the skirt to secure it around the base of the tree don't work well so I just wrapped it around. 2020 Update: 8.5-9 foot Noble Tree -This year we got a much larger tree so the tree skirt is not quite large enough. Would love it if they sold a larger version.

Got this last Dec. and it was better than I though it would be. It was a perfect fit for my tree. It was so soft and fluffy to the point my cats stayed under the tree laying on it. the best tree skirt I have purchased for the value. Very happy with it and can't wait to use it again.
