They are UL certified, LED lights. Nice and bright. All working. Tree looks funny with half incandescent and half LED lights. But I had to replace 3 sets that didn't work. All in all works great for the price.

I WOULDN’T BUY AGAIN. ALL THE LIGHTS WERE BLUE WHEN I PURCHASED. I PULLED THE LIGHTS OUT THIS YEAR & MOST OF THEM TURNED WHITE (ONLY ABOUT 15 ARE STILL BLUE). NOT SATISFIED!!!!!!!!!

I like the quality of light, but the strings do not last. First 2 strings were hung up outside in early January. Lots of wind killed 1 string in a month. The second string (with no wind) lasted 4 months. A third string (no wind) lasted less than 3 months. I will not buy them again. I'm done!

I use these indoors in my classroom so I don’t have to rely as much on the overhead fluorescent lighting. They light up when plugged in (no switches) so I need to plug/unplug every day.
