Bought this Halloween garage door banner/cover for my single garage door and I was surprised how great it was. Neighbors love it! This is a 7’x8’ and it fits perfectly, end to end. It’s the same size as my door. Only issue is, it comes with velcro tabs to put it on your door. I didn’t want to use those as I worried the velcro when take. Off would take my garage door paint off upon removing. So I cleaned the top of my garage door with water to get the dirt off and used a strong (Amazon) clear packing tape at the top of the banner to secure it to the door. And even in heavy winds in Southern California the tape has stayed in place and held the banner up. I wish they offered garage door clamps (which I think wayfair sells) to use vs the tape. I’m a fan. I’m also ordered a 8’ x 16’ banner see next review for it as well. Used same system and it worked.

This door banner is very cute. It is made of the same quality nylon that many of the outdoor banners are made of, so it should hold up well to the elements without fading. It is an excellent value. It could make a nice photo backdrop, although you would need to add to it on either or both sides, as it is only 35 inches wide. There are some issues with the description and photos, and those should be made aware of. 1. The description says it is 81 inches by 36 inches. It is actually 35 inches wide and 82 inches tall. a. The instructions state hanging it on your garage door, but clearly that is a mistake due to translation, as it is far too narrow for a garage door, and clearly meant to be used on a front door. b. The problem with the width: i. It will cover your door handle, so you will have to hang it loose enough to be able to reach behind it to access the handle. c. The problem with the length: i. It is actually taller that a standard front door. 1. You will need to shorten it if you are going to hang it the way it is intended. 2. The description states there are 6 pieces of hook and loop tape to adhere to the banner. There are actually only 4 – one for each corner of the banner. 3. The photos show grommets, and rope strung through the grommets for hanging the banner. a. There are not any grommets (or rope) included with this banner. I have no intentions of sticking hook and loop tape to my front door. I would be concerned with what the adhesive might do to the finish on my door. Instead, I will use clear packing tape, which I have tested and used successfully many times on my door without damage. In my photo, I have the banner on the interior of the front door. That was just for taking the photo. I did not use any adhesive. The banner was too tall for the door, so I just put the banner over the top of the door, then closed the door and let the banner hang freely. When I decorate for Christmas, I will hang it on the outside, draping it over the top of the door, and I will use packing tape on the interior side of the door to hold it in place. I will also tape the lower corners of the banner onto the door from the exterior. Overall, this is a nice banner at a great price. You will have to figure out what works best for you as far as hanging it. I recommend this Christmas banner.

I liked the look of this, but my entry door is brand new and I did not want to attach anything to it. But I found the way to use it anyway ! I have a door, from the entrance to the family room, and this large door-cover adapts exactly to the width of that door !!! The door opens into the family room, so that this cover for the door will be in the background, perfectly visible during the festivities. Exact fit to the width of the door, and it is just a little taller than it, so that I can attach it to the upper edge of the door with a few tacks, easy to put, easy to take away. The product comes with large adhesive pads anyway. Four stars instead of five ? Well, as I use to say, the weather around here can be pretty bad, we do have a storm door, so around here the intended use of this product is not really possible anyway (it would be in the snow, or it would be difficult to see behind the storm door). But that’s just a warning for people living in areas with … difficult weather.

Not sure what's going on with all the ads photos and choices now by this vendor, because we could no longer find the style of this cute & funny FRONT DOOR banner on there anymore, they seem to be all the "garage" door banners now. But ours, is the picture of Santa & Rudolph (cute cartoons) peeping out the front door (NOT garage door), it's not there anymore though, sorry about that, folks, couldn't show it to you, but it's really cute. If they decided to discontinue this style, we're only glad we got it just in time. It's a full-size front door banner, just stick it on there like a giant sticker on door panel, but there are velcro straps to help secure it, so not to come off loose easily when door being opened/closed often, and with weather condition, cold & wet might not be too friendly with its ablility to stick and stay on door for long. We also add the Christmas garland (with lights) on the door frame, so that makes it even lovelier and more festive. We hope "Yownig" will bring this style of front door banner and other also cute styles back, so you can enjoy it like we do. Still time, we are only in 1/3 of November..... Fingers crossed.

I ordered this Merry Christmas Door Banner for the upcoming Christmas season once I take down my fall and Thanksgiving front door decorations. I looked over many types of Christmas door banners and like this the best since it is very traditional. Due to the nature of the Christmas holiday, I want a traditional Christmas theme that says “Merry Christmas” versus Happy Holidays. The colors are nice and the graphics are clean with no poor lines or marks. The material is definitely an outdoor type of material that should hold up for a number of seasons, especially since my front door is somewhat protected from the elements. The edges of the banner are finished off with a one-thread sewn seam that hopefully will hold up without fraying – time will tell. Overall, I look forward to hanging this on my front door to help celebrate the Christmas season.
