I followed the instructions before putting it on my bed. It has made a huge difference and I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a great night's sleep. This topper is very soft and comfortable on the bed. There is no shifting of the fibers as it's stitched into squares. There is also on all four sides the over material that goes over and under the mattress. Again,, nothing coming undone while sleeping. I recommend this for a nice fitful sleep.
