Yes, the new release film (with a sealing ring) can be used with older Hoopat. I’m noticing resin leaking after installing the Hoopat. What should I check? Resin leakage is most likely caused by improper installation of PFA. PFA has two protective films that need to be removed during installation. If the transparent protective film is installed, it will crack during printing, causing resin leakage. I installed the Hoopat with ACF film, and my print failed. What should l do? 1. Make sure to remove the two protective films on the PFA (one on each side) during installation. 2. Secure the clips using both hands at the same time. 3. Avoid applying multiple clips (chip and unclip) on a single film. My Saturn 4 Ultra 16K shows an error after installing the Hoopat X4H. What should I do? The X4H has a heating function. During installation, the bottom probe must be aligned with the heating element on the right side of the LCD screen. Can the old release film (without a sealing ring) be used with the new Hoopat? No, the old release film (without a sealing ring) is NOT recommended for use with the new Hoopat. By far the best accessory for my printer, worth every single penny. The quality of the film was great with quick release. I havent had much failures ever since switching to this. I love that it has max lines on both sides so i can see the level when im pouring and when im monitoring via camera, nice little feature. I wished it had two pour spouts like the original. Changing film does not take 30 seconds. You need to make sure every hole is fully grabbed and then do the same to seal. Still even with the extra time to ensure no leaks, it still beats taking out a bunch of screws. Cleaning is easy, i have a silicone scraper and if i have a hard spot, i usually to a tank cleaning with the bam wham tool and it peels off easy. ... show more

The first time i used it. My prints failed but i adjusted the settings. Now the adhesion to the sheet is better and sticks perfect with no weakness to the raft. Durability wise the tank is metal and holds up well. Fits my elegoo saturn 4 ultra perfectly. As of right now I'm loving this new tank. This is the way resin printer vats should be made. It works like a charm. Changing the fep now only takes 3 minutes vs at least an hour with the old vats. I highly recommend this product.

Ok, I already hate replacing the FEP film on vats. It's extremely tedious and something you have to get done right the first time. With Elegoo vats you can't get the film tight right in the frame because of how the frame bolts into the vat. So initially install it with just enough looseness to make sure it'll stretch correctly into the vat. Neat. This thing? SKIP ALL THAT MESS. Just pull off the protective film, lip up the latches, replace, latch it back. Boom. Done. Saved yourself a minimum of 30 minutes of insanity loss and dread. I just really hope they come out with one for the Mars so I can have both of them with the Hoopat system so when the tears inevitably happens or it starts getting too worn I'm not putting it off because of the time and effort it takes. ... show more

Barely works. Have to raft everything not even sure it’s the right film for a Saturn 3. Prints just won’t stick when I never had an issue with the old vat

Worth every penny to simplify the process of film changing and the tension is perfect every single time. The film it comes with has better light transmittance (95%) than the stock FEP (92%) and releases very smooth with the high and consistent tension. Their time difference video is accurate.
