One of the unpleasant chores associated with resin 3D printing the the removal and replacement of the printing film, often involving the removal and replacement of a number of bolts. This resin trough fit my Elegoo Saturn perfectly and makes the changing of the print film a much easier task. I also purchased the pre-cut film made for the resin vat, and it works perfectly. It is well made and is a real value in terms of time saved and ease of film replacement.

Very fast to change PFA film. First print, raft and supports stuck, models didn't stick at all (was fine on default vat and pfa film), probably not great for suction. Did a tank clean, literally ripped my fingernail trying to get the tank layer off the pfa film. So yeah, the raft and very base film sticks great, but smaller details don't stick at all. Tried this twice, same problem. This was after recalibrating Saturn 4 Ultra 16k automatically and manually. Needed the print done, so stuck my old original vat and pfa film in there with over 60,000 layers printed, and it kept going like a champ. I do not recommend to buy, and I'm going to give it the old college try 1 more time with a different pfa film, if it fails, I'm returning it.

As easy to use as it claims. The lid is appreciated. No failures, appears great quality. Would recommend this to anyone printing regularly or looking for additional vats to make swapping resins faster.

Works great on my elegoo Saturn ultra 16k. However it's got some down sides with this printer. First the temp reporting is slow, not sure if it's a bad thermistor or what. Only ever went up to 34c which is safe but over the normal 30c. Also when putting the tray back in I was lazy and dragged the contacts over the points and it sparked. That is dangerous in a hobby with ipa being used. Now all that said I'm going to keep using it, I've had no failures or leaks from it and changing the fep out is super fast. Also feels like it's built to last which is nice, had a textured feeling metal. Just do read and follow the directions. This hobby is often about following directions.
