After several failed attempts at velvet swivel chairs from a nationally known store, and a long hunt on the internet for velvet swivel chairs without a 12-14 week wait, these popped on to the radar screen, fit what we needed and since we could send them back if they didn't work, we gave them a try. These chairs are VERY NICE! The fabric is soft and the dye job is even. After a few passes with a velvet brush, they look like high-end chairs. The wood base is an upgrade from a metal ring on more expensive chairs, they swivel smoothly and look amazing. I honestly cannot believe how much we love these chairs! Couldn’t find chair that suited in stores. Amazon never disappoints. Two Forest Green chairs delivered on time, packaged perfectly and very easy to unpack with chair fully assembled. One chair had dark stains. Sent email and 3 pictures to CHITA. PROMPT reply informing me a new chair was on the way and no need to return damaged chair, which is quite usable! I looked and looked at the Chita chairs couldn’t decide between the Ivory, flax linen, linen or a grey or splash of color with rust. I was afraid the dark grey would be like a black according to reviews. They were wrong the dark grey is actually a med grey. Material is very nice, comfortable, low back but the way it sits is just fine for me the seat without a pillow is deeper than I thought it would be. I wish reviews were more accurate for some. Hope this helps some out there tossing around which to pick! You can’t go wrong with these chairs if you need a smaller piece that’s comfy. I love it! Guessing that the pebble grey is lighter grey compared to this med grey. My sofa is charcoal with blue hues to it. happy shopping !!! Happy shopper.. ... show more

At first I was afraid to purchase these since I couldn’t see it in-person (a normal concern when shopping online) – but I’m happy to report that, though the box that this Swivel Chair was delivered to me in – came a bit tattered, the content was well packaged and protected. I’m grateful that there was no assembly required and that this barrel chair was sturdy enough to accommodate my guests that weighed 300 lbs. with no issues. I love the strong fabric and the look & stability of the wooden base – yet the chair was light enough to still move around to adjust in the space. It is a bit pricey – but the cost does show in the quality, weight & feel of this chair – and does NOT feel cheaply made. ... show more

Color was as shown. Swivel is smooth. Chair is comfortable. Ordered two plus ottoman and the fabric matches perfectly. Love the size….i do still need a pillow behind me but I am very short.
