I Have been wanting a chilbo forever! I seen they were on sale and snagged one up! I received it yesterday and was sooo excited. It was pouring rain out so there was no way I was going out there to try to air it up. Well I proceeded to run through our house and down the hall trying to grab as much air as possible. The man of the house just watched in amazement and maybe some embarrassment for me as I dashed around to the point I was panting and started to sweat. I caught enough air to kind of be able to sit on it so i rolled it down and locked it. Ever so eager to try it I sat down on it with pure joy only to roll right off of it! I NEEED more air before being able to fairly judge this product but I will update my review as soon as the weather is nice enough that I can take my Chilbo out to play! UPDATE: I FINALLY ACHEIVED MAX AIR CAPACITY. Annnnnndd I hate this thing! The sound of the material alone urks me lol. Getting it aired up is a chore to say the least. My little boy loves it so it will be his while we air camping, IF he can get it aired up. I cant speak for the quality yet but we have lots up camping trips planned this summer and If anything new arises I will update again! ... show more

Just tried it in the yard. Fits two people well. Great for camping, concerts, shows, or your backyard. Made from a light tarp material similar to tents, so treat it nice. Don't want to punture it. You do need a light breeze to really fill it up with air. Flapping it around like a trash bag in your house won't really get it very full. ... show more

It's essentially a 2-layer design where you have a more durable outer shell with the print and plain plastic bag inside acting as the air camera. 2 liners to keep the chambers shut and an extra-engineered buckle that makes sure the whole system stays put. I'd say craftsmanship exceeded my expectations here. On the use side though... I wanted to get this to chill during camping or on an off-occasion at home. For chilling outside it doesn't fit my need since plastic makes you sweat(less you're semi-naked or just out of the water at which point this is a non-issue) and it sloooooowly deflates. I fell asleep in it(it is comfortable!) and woke up "close to the ground". For "inside" this doesn't fit my needs since it requires quite some space to get it inflated properly. Maybe it's a skill one can acquire relatively easily, but I'm not interested in acquiring it :) Net-net: efficient return via amazon. ... show more

So it looked fun. I needed a backyard / beach comfy chair. It is definitely portable, not doubt about that. Made of rip stop fabric that should hold up but it does seem to be straining at the seams a little. Inflation is.... a learned and practiced skill. Everyone complains about it and yes there are videos on how to do it but it ain't easy. For the first dozen times or so, my thoughts were pretty much not pleasant. If you don't give up, you learn the trick and it gets easier. NO REALLY... IT DOES. You look like an idiot doing it, but you learn. Once inflated and secured, it is heaven. It's amazingly comfortable like you are floating on a raft in a pool. Yes, it does lose air after a while though. It isn't sealed so that will happen. You'll feel your butt on the ground and know it's time to reinflate. The problem I have, is getting out of the thing. If you are healthy, fit and young, you'll have no problem. I... am not. So I just end up rolling around on the ground a while until I find a way up. All in all, I would recommend this if you have patience and energy. ... show more

One side completely eats me and I’ll be on the floor but the other side has a little rest that properly holds me!! I was about to return it until I realized I was just not on the correct side! So Pay attention to what side your laying on!! It’s way longer than ones I’ve used in the past but that’s perfect for me cause I’m on the taller side 5’9 & Fits me and my boyfriend together we are both between 115-130pounds (very skinny) I love the carry bag and the nail to keep it in place so it doesn’t fly away!! It’s super comfortable but kind of noisy when you move around (Kind of hard to blow up because it’s so big) ... show more

Well, my husband isn’t a real hobbit and his name isn’t Bilbo, but if I was on an adventurous quest to find a circle shaped object with my eclectic group of magical side kicks - they, and I would approve this product. It’s easy to fill, just watch the video. It’s super comfy and light weight. It comes with a ground steak and rope in case it’s windy. For real though, these are awesome fun and gets the neighbors staring. Taking them camping and on the river for the real test. Chillbo Shwaggins feel free to send me some shwag 🤷♀️🤣 ... show more

I LOVED MY CHILLBO...for about a month. Then my DOG decided that he wanted to use it (uninflated AND without permission - the NERVE) when I wasn't home. The result: pinhole puncture wound to the inner layer. I chalked it up to "I shouldn't have left it laying out on the porch," and bought another one. Got to use it two or three times in the span of about a week. Had it rolled up in a small wooden crate on the porch. Guess who decided to pull it out and break it in? The result: now my new one leaks. Much slower than the old one, but a leak nonetheless. So I guess I wrote all of that to say, keep your animals the f*** away from your Chillbo, lest it meet an untimely demise. ... show more
