This sack is soooo comfortable. I purchased it for my autistic toddler and he absolutely loves it (me too). The foam is really nice and the shell is of good quality. I purchased the navy microsuede model its what you would expect for microsuede and my son doesn't get irritated by the fabric (sensitive skin). The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I wish there was just a little bit more foam out the box. It was packaged very neatly in a vacum sealed bag it didn't take long to decompress. It did take a little longer to ship but I was made aware of the delivery date after purchase and it was acurate. I would recommend this product, I'm actually thinking about getting one for my bedroom! :) ... show more

Bought the 5 foot (royal blue) version after we spent Thanksgiving with cousins whom had two. Extremely fun for 7 and 9 year old, especially if they are trapped indoors by bad weather. Many somersaults, cannon balls off the sofa, and high kicks later the thing is still going strong. One thing I like about this bean bag is it's not traditional bean bag material (those little round beads that get compressed after long use). It's more of a memory foam which sounds wired, but works well. There's a intact lining inside - haven't had to replace the foam but it has a zipper and should be easy to do if needed in the future. My 7 year old got pneumonia and this bean bag turned out to be the perfect place for her to sleep and curl up. Very good quality despite the heavy abuse. Would highly recommend (may even buy another one). ... show more

I got this for my husband as a birthday present because he always complained that he had nowhere to sit in my office when he comes to hang out while I work. It is a hit! It is absolutely massive and so comfortable. My husband is around 6'2"-3" and can comfortably lounge with the dog, and I am around 5'6" and could happily sleep on this thing if I wanted to. Is it supportive? No, but if you expect a giant blob of loose foam to be a supportive chair then I'm not sure you have ever seen a beanbag before. You can open the bag to add more foam to make it more dense to fit personal preference and weight needs, but we have not personally felt the need to! Also, I semi-frequently floof and flip the bag around so it doesn't condense and get flat in one position. ... show more

Ten minutes into fluffing, and the kitty claimed it. It definitely takes work to break up the foam and I know you need to wait 4-5 days for maximum expansion after beating the crap out of it.......so I guess we will have to do that between cat lounging time. 😆 I am hoping I will not need to add more foam...but I got an extra 10 pound bag with it. Update: I did need to add about half of the 10 pound bag of extra filling I purchased....but it is very comfortable once it expands. You will need to flip it if you want a fluffier sit, as of course it settles. It is enormous and I will say, it has proven to make you get a slight workout each time you do that. In this post/still covid era... a little effort before sitting on your behind is not a bad thing 😆. Still, the cat keeps stealing it. 🐈⬛️ 😆 ... show more

    • Huge disappointment & false advertisement! - NOT memory foam and uncomfortable - 7 issues!

Although I did a lot of reading through the many product reviews before purchasing this product, I was lured by the mainly positive ratings and the statements about how happy some users are with this chair. My gut tried to steer me away from purchasing this but unfortunately I took the chance despite some of the negative reviews pointing-out some concerning and recurring issues. Many of those negative reviews turned out to accurately describe aspects of the product I received, but I also found one MAJOR ISSUE (#1) that I did not see in any other review and that I consider to be the worst. This was a birthday present for my teenager and I had the greatest hopes that it would be a hit. I even told her that she will spend most of her free time on/in this chair... Now I am left with having to find a replacement after this present was a complete bust. For what it's worth, here are my issues: #1 - NOT MEMORY FOAM - It seems to be some cheap foam that was ripped into chunks. This is something I did not read in any other reviews and it's the biggest issue for me because I consider it to be false advertising. Memory foam, especially if high-quality, is quite a bit more expensive, heavier, but also more comfortable, so this seems to be an attempt by the manufacturer to cut cost. The particular filling I received springs back immediately after compression (zero memory effect) and is much lighter than I expected after reading review from others. I have no problem lifting this bag up and carrying it around with one hand. No problem if the product description matches the product, but calling this memory foam is FALSE ADVERTISING! #2 - CHUNKS and LUMPS - The foam pieces are too big, some of them around 6 inches. Even after separating the chunks over several days, the chair remains extremely lumpy. Sections within pieces don't have the same consistency either and are partially hard, almost like some sort of crust. All of this in combination makes the chair very lumpy and uncomfortable. #3 - CUSTOMER EFFORT - I could accept the manufacturer expecting the customer to separate foam pieces from each other to expedite expansion, but expecting the customer to rip and tear the individual foam pieces by hand is frankly ridiculous. That should be part of the manufacturing process of the filling. Worst, I was unable to actually get to the filling itself due to a zipper issue (see issue #5) but I probably would have decided against digging inside the bag anyway as that would have just turned into a huge mess. Lastly, ripping these pieces by hand is HARD. I tried for about an hour overall by bunching-up the protective polyester liner but this foam is tough and doing this for the entire chair would be a waste of my time because even 2 inch pieces still felt like little lumps. Think of it as 2 inch cotton balls, only harder. This chair would never be comfortable, even after hours of ripping pieces. #4 - INSUFFICIENT FILLING - Like so many other buyers indicated, there isn't enough filling for the chair to be usable, or at least comfortable. I am 190 pounds and as soon as I drop down, I hit the floor. Combine that with the lumps you feel everywhere, it's just a very bad product compared to what is advertised but also compared to what other happy reviewers seem to have received. Probably needless to say that I also don't appreciate that the manufacturer expects you to purchase more filling separately at an additional cost just to get a product that is actually usable (or looks anywhere near the advertised pictures). This is cost-cutting at the expense of the customers to either increase profits or look more competitive. #5 - ZIPPER ISSUES - The zipper turns out to actually be a double-zipper, which I consider to be a positive. Not sure if I missed that in other reviews or if the manufacturer learned from prior zipper issues and doubled them up to avoid loss of stuffing. However, the inside zipper is broken and does not move. If I had decided to keep this product, I would have cut the inside zipper open to simplify ripping the filling and be able to add more. But based on the other issues I have with this chair, it's not worth the effort. #6 - QUALITY CONTROL - I can't say whether I was particularly unlucky to receive a very low quality product, or whether my expectations in this chair were higher than that of other reviewers. What is very clear is that quality control is very spotty at best, with me having received a product that combined most of the issues that some others experienced as well. #7 - DIFFICULT RETURN - One thing is for sure, unlike some other reviewers that decided not to send this product back because there is no way to fit it back into its original packaging, I will go out of my way to manufacture a box that will work as I have no tolerance for false advertising. Hopefully this will ultimately help others receive a better product that can meet expectations. This is likely the worst review I have ever written on Amazon. I don't do this lightly but hope that others can benefit from my experience and hopefully avoid it for themselves. In hindsight, I should not have taken the risk considering how difficult it will be to return this bag. I welcome any feedback, including comments from the manufacturer! ... show more

Edit from original: I’ve since bought and added 30lbs of additional memory foam filler. It now acts more like a chair. In retrospect 20lbs was probably the sweet spot. Both the inside and outside covers have double zippers running in opposite directions (good design and construction). I bought this on a whim thinking it was more like Lovesack (SP?) the high up bean bag "chair". Instead like a normal beanbag you end up maybe 6-12 inches off the ground. I might build some sort of base for this to raise the sitting height and/or contain how much the bottom splays out. Very comfortable and big enough that my dog will hang out on it with me. However when you want to get up you have to roll over and get up on your knees. Maybe if it had 1.5 times the stuffing it would keep more of its original shape. This is by no means a bad product just know what you're getting. ... show more
