I've had chicco, I've had graco... and hands down chicco wins. I bought the key fit stroller frame along with the car seat. There's so many things that I'm happy about with both products. The handle for the carrier comes up and down quietly so that it does not wake the baby. The click in feature to the base and the stroller is also quiet which makes it ideal if the baby is sleeping. The safety features impressed my husband and it was convenient to see the level markers on the seat so we knew we were putting it in right. We had a car accident with this car seat when we got rear ended by a texting driver and sandwiched into another car in front of us. Air bags deployed in the front and on her side of the car in the backseat. My husband broke his hand, but my 7lb infant seems to have been unaffected, thanks be to God. This product is excellent..... but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone due to the fact that it and the stroller that goes with it is useless once your child outgrows the seat, which in my case was in 6 months. There are car seats that have a wider range of height and weight restrictions that are compatible with strollers that can then be used on their own. These travel systems are a much better investment. We spent around $380 for an extra base, seat, and stroller, all of which only lasted us 6 months. Yes, our child is on the tall end of the spectrum, but I wish I had done my research. ... show more

I was recently in a car accident with my 3-month-old son. I am repurchasing this car seat, because I am SO IMPRESSED with this seat’s quality and safety features. For the price, this car seat is incredibley well made, very comfortable, and extremely safe. My son has loved this car seat since birth, and I immediately repurchased this after our car accident, because the seat performed so well and kept my son safe. This has been one of my favorite baby purchases. I have recommended this seat and the Chicco jogger to all my friends. While other moms I know have trouble with their car seats from other brands properly clicking into the car seat base and compatible strollers, I’ve never had an issue with any of my Chicco products. The instillation is very simple, and you always have peace of mind because everything clicks and is secured easily. I’ve also noticed that the fabric they use is much more sturdy yet soft compared to other brands. I really trust this brand and my baby is always comfortable in their travel products. I'm fairly certain that laws and regulations on these things make them all pretty much great, that is if you are buying them for the purpose of keeping your kiddo safe... So the huge variance in pricing probably comes from aesthetics, and what other cool stuff that it will fit in, i.e. overpriced stroller, et cetera... But try and imagine my predicament... In the photo, if you look closely enough, you will see that there are two of these things mounted in there. You heard me right, freaking twins... So not only did we get to buy two car seats, but we got to buy a 2020 Tahoe (a small bus to accommodate a large family), might as well have gotten a second mortgage... ... show more
