So far these knives are working great! Nice and sharp and easy to use. I would definitely say hand wash then after use. I could see how they could rust easily in a dishwasher. They are vary clean and nice looking on my counter top. Its a good set if you do not want to spend a fortune on knives.

True Chicago cutlery quality. You can’t go wrong with Chicago cutlery. The knives are very sharp, well balanced and well made. My old set, Wusthof, very expensive, (ex had to have) needed sharpening all the time. Having worked at a meat processing plant I know how to sharpen a knife and couldn’t keep the Wusthof’s sharp. My past experience with Chicago cutlery has me confident I will not need to sharpen these knives very often with proper and daily use. If needed I would give these as a gift.
