This was a novelty gift for a family member who is a fan. I'm not sure if he was successful with growing it, but the gift went over well and it was the most outrageous Duck Dynasty gift I could find. Product arrived as described and in tact, though the actual head was smaller than I had imagined.

My daughter chose to grow chi planters for her 5th grade science project. I thought finding a chia planter would be easy, but searched our local stores and they were not sold anywhere. So, of course I checked Amazon, which I should have done first. They had such a huge selection but the best find was the Duck Dynasty selection, all the guys were there and my daughter was so excited because she loves the show and loves Uncle Si! It is impossible to keep the seeds on this. They slide off the face, hair and back leaving only patches of seeds to grow. This is a horrible product that was obviously not tried before it was manufactured.

I didn't realize it, but this item was ridiculously overpriced when compared with stores in my area. I was very disappointed in that fact, as well as the added shipping. Usually Amazon is a good deal, but this time I got screwed. Such is life, live and learn.

These can be a pain to get the seeds to stick to, and they only last a week or two, there is no root base, and no nutrients, thus you have to re-do them frequently, but they look cool right before all the chia dies. 4 stars cause "Hey Jack!" I love my Duck Dynasty
