Most of the time I give up the fight and let my hair stay in it's naturally curly/wavy nature, and other times I want it smooth up in a ponytail, or clipped back from my eyes. Those days I want it more smooth and sleek this comes to my aid. I usually use some form of heat protection spray before I straighten with this. It is easy to use and I really like that it has adjustable temperatures and an auto shut off. This flat iron heats up quickly and glides through my hair beautifully. It has many heat settings, but 350 is what was shown on the display when I unboxed it, and it is the best setting for my hair. I think the price was fair for the quality of it. I recommend it.
