  • Feels good
Color: White
Great so far- the heaviness and quality of the keyboard is excellent. It is definitely worth the price for the quality. You are getting mechanical keys that do not make much sound if any- I think the only sound comes if you're taping very fast or mashing. I don't like the location of the FN key, I think its a bit too far but that will just take some getting used to. Keys are soft and comfortable, but I would appreciate if they were a little taller or not as sloped. I also wish the pegs that came with for the incline were a bit taller as well. RGB filters are pretty good, I just wish there was more filter/ pattern options that don't have the keyboard go dark for a bit. RGB settings can be adjusted and personalized when you download the hardware- link included in instruction manual- but even when I increase the speed of the filters I still find the majority of patterns boring. I only really like 2 of them. You can change to ANY color light if you pick one solid color which is nice since I like an orchid pink and that isn't common of a color on RGB items. My last keyboard was a very old Apple keyboard, likely the 2001 model and I loved that it had USB ports. My boyfriend told me it is not common now for keyboards to have USB ports anymore but just in case.. if that is a feature you looked for (I tried but none of the review or stock photos showed the back side of the keyboard) just know it does not have that function. I think if you really want a keyboard to last you for a while you should try this one. I'm glad I picked this one over the others I was considering. ... show more

  • Best Mechanical Keyboard Ever!
Color: Pink w/MX Blue
The best keyboard ever! I love it so much that I bought a second one for my home computer; the first one was for my desk at work. I love it because typing requires almost no effort. It is a clicky Cherry MX Blue switch and it is not that loud. The colors are vibrant. and I feel no typing fatigue. I have many mechanical keyboards, linear, tactile, and clicky, and this is the best by far! ... show more

  • A High Quality Keyboard
Color: Black w/Brown Switch
I have had my new keyboard for a month now and am very happy with it. I bought a new desktop PC last year. After 6 months, 10 of the alphabet keys that were printed on the top of the inexpensive soft keyboard that came with it partially or totally wore off. So I wanted a new keyboard that had the keys illuminated from below. I spent several hours researching keyboards and their components. I found that there are only a very few keyboards that have keys illuminated from below. Don't be confused by keyboards that say they are backlit. This means that the background space below the keys are illuminated with light, but the light doesn't actually come through the keys to the top, as in this keyboard. After reading a lot of information, I also concluded that what I wanted was high quality Cherry Brown switches. And I ended up concluding why not just buy a Cherry brand keyboard that installs their own switches, especially because they are one of the few companies that has illuminated keys. I am very happy with my Brown switch keys. They make a rather quiet clicking noise, which is what I wanted. For a key color choice, I decided on blue lit keys, set at the middle of 3 brightness levels. (Use the F5 & F6 keys to set a brightness level.) I also like the horizontal rainbow setting, which rolls slowly from the top keys towards the bottom keys. I do have one strong suggestion for Cherry. What I would really like is a color selection where the alpha keys are one color, the number keys a second, the F keys a third, and the miscellaneous function keys a fourth color. This would delineate the different categories of keys. Yes, I read in the instructions that one can individually change the color of a key one by one. I started to do this, but the colors didn't take. And it would take too long. So please, Cherry, add a selection to have each category of keys a different color. It did take a while to get used to seeing the symbols below the ten number keys, which are the opposite of an American keyboard. But I read elsewhere that on keys that are illuminated from below, that the light diodes are underneath the keys towards the top edge of each key. So having the number illuminated more prominently makes sense to put the symbols on these keys below because they are used less and need to be illuminated less strongly. In short, I have adapted having these key designations reversed. I also read on another brand keyboard a couple of complaints that after some time, that the light diode burned out under a couple of keys. I haven't read this complaint on reviews for this Cherry keyboard. I hope it doesn't happen. I am just a casual user of my PC, 1 - 3 hours a day. I am not a gamer, so I can't comment on how this keyboard if for this activity. Finally, note that this keyboard is engineered in Germany, but manufactured in China. But isn't just about everything these days? In short, I am very happy with my Cherry keyboard. I would purchase it again. ... show more
