Overall I really like this light fixture. It is bright in our dining room and lets off a warm light. We have gotten many compliments from guests when they see it. The directions were not the best, however. We have installed a number of hanging light fixtures so it wasn't a problem, but there were virtually no directions so keep that in mind if you are not familiar with installing lights. The main reason I took a star off is because the shade is definitely a darker cream than a white like the picture shows. I don't hate the cream color, but it is not exactly what I was looking for. We have experience with hanging lights and fans and fought with this for 2.5 hours, and finally got it installed and then spent another 30 mins trying to get it level (to no avail). The directions aren't helpful so if you're not familiar with electrical, hire someone. No matter what we do, we can't get it level and we've tried everything and its driving me crazy but not enough to tear it down, try to rebox and send it back to Amazon. Really beautiful light, but the fact that it isn't level makes it a thumbs down for me. :-( ... show more

I love this light fixture. Well constructed and beautiful when installed. I paired it with a nice modern ceiling medallion to finish it off. I receive compliments on this entry way fixture every time I have people over. I put multi directional led candelabra bulbs in it to cascade light in all directions. Looks even better than the photos. Recommend candleabra LED dimmable bulbs with a white coating since the bulbs are visible. Plenty of light and the size is perfect for a table with 6-8 chairs. Love it
