The arrival of the set itself was very fast. It looks exactly like the pictures promise, the paint is very nicely applied. The cups themselves are relatively thick, giving them a very nice weight to them. One saucers did come broken, likely a fault with Amazon's delivery rather than the fault of the seller. After contacting them, they were very professional and understanding and sent a replacement. I would recommend this item and this seller again! ... show more

Nice little tea set, although be sure you’re strong if considering buying! The packaging was nuts, had to get a knife to strong arm all of the pieces out of the foam packaging. It did a good job of arriving in once piece, but took 30 minutes for me to get out of the box! Eventually, I just had to pull VERY hard on each piece to free it from the styrofoam. Luckily it didn’t break when pulling it free. Overall, nice tea set though! ... show more

We like to try and have tea time every day, but I wanted to have a good and proper tea set for it and this was perfect. I'm not a big fan of gold as a color, but it works so well with the pine green color of the ceramic that I don't mind it at all. I was even able to find a matching caddy to go with it. I have collected teapots for about thirty years, but about 12 or 15 years ago I quit buying them. When I saw this one, I couldn't resist. I bought the tray, gold spoons, and the tea set. I think it looks better than in the pictures. This tea set is detailed just right, the color is so beautiful everything is like a much higher priced set. When it got here the set was in perfect condition. I can't wait to use this and drink tea with my daughter. Fast shipping, great price and a beautiful tea set.
