I got turned on to these chemical Guys Hex pads when I was doing a side gig with a cousin of mine detailing boats. We did house boats all the way down to bass boats. With all kinds of oxidation and polishing types you sometimes get pretty creative, especially if it's in the wet sand/chalky stage. These hex pads hold up even when you're going on them a little too long. Other pads will separate the glue and just fall off, but these guys just keep going. I'm not sure Chemical Guys has the lineup of boat stuff anymore but I now use these on all my vehicles, since they compete or outperform most of the other guys. 10/10 ... show more

This is a great starting kit for the home diy retailer. My first kit Lasted a long time (over a year) and the cleaner that comes with the pads is the best. Beware the cleaner is very potent though!

I cant speak to other pads but these were pretty easy to use. I did have to wash them and let them dry and they came out pretty good. I maybe could get a couple cars out of each of them.

The pads seem fine, but I cannot stress enough, how amazing this cleaner is. I've tried numerous cleaners, soaps, detergents etc. Nothing comes close to this stuff. I had all but given up on cleaning my various polishing pads, and was just wrapping them in plastic bags to stay moist. Not a good idea. Then I got this stuff. It cleaned the Chemical Guys pads that I had just used, effortlessly. No sticky residue on my hands or sink. I figured it must be the pads so I grabbed my "almost ready for the dung heap" coarse pad, and in minutes, with very little effort, it was pristine. I'm sold. ... show more

great pads and last a while as long as you clean and don't over heat. the cleaner in kit is not so good. dish soap works better. but all the pads are AAA+++ product!!

I’ve used these pad for years and know their reliability. I bought it expecting the pad cleaner which helps a lot in the longevity of the pad. Not a big deal but it was included in my package. It’s still a great product.
