AMAZING blender. The base is like a block of concrete. It's weighted, it's solid, and, yes, like any blender, it makes noise, but it's not insane loud noise. It's quieter than the old Ninja I had and the Oster. Basically it's not a heavy grindy noise like most blenders, it's a machine running noise like what you'd hear from a Kitchen Aid or something. I did order an extra noise canceling base that hasn't arrived yet, but I was surprised enough by how not terribly noisy this machine was that if I hadn't ordered the base, I'd be just fine without it and I have wood counter tops, not stone and I didn't get that awful echoing sound. The pitcher is plastic, yes, but also incredibly solid. Not like the plastic of the Ninja I had, which did crack up the side after a couple years (Hopefully they fixed that issue). This feels REALLY durable. It also comes with a tamper that pushes food down and, if you twist the handle, a little sword shaped scraper/spatula is inside. I actually found it cute and funny but it works great and keeps the fingers safe! The power of this thing - I successfully blended frozen solid blackberries (all I've made so far) and had no issues and everything came out smooth and well blended. And that was just at 2. This thing goes to 5. I don't know what I would be putting in there that needs to go to 5 cause then this thing really will live up to its name. Or take off from the counter like a helicopter. But, seriously, whatever you put in, it blends it VERY well and it does do the wave action to pull stuff down from the top and get it in the blades. I am really impressed. Seriously. I wanted a good blender that didn't just spin on the bottom and leave an air pocket with nothing getting blended. And I didn't want to spend an insane amount of money for it. Spend some, yes. I didn't want cheap. But I didn't want to have to make payments on a blender, if you get what I mean. This one is affordable and does exactly what it says and it VERY good quality. If you're looking for something like I was, please consider this one. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

WOW!!! What a blender!! 🤩 this thing is amazing. My old blender didn’t have enough power to make healthy green drinks smooth. There were always those little pieces. I researched and the reviews for this one were really good. I can’t believe how great it is. My green smoothies packed with kale and spinach and frozen fruit come out so smooth I can drink them through a straw. I am beyond happy. So far I’ve only had to use the auto feature. You just push the button and I will admit it sounds like a small jet engine in your kitchen😄 but not for long. It zooms fast and slow and then in about a minute and a half you’ve got your beautiful smoothie. Highly recommended.

This blender is superb! I was hesitant to leave the Nina brand, but this Chefman had so many good reviews that I had to try it. I love the different settings. The "Ice" setting makes shaved ice! It also has options for automatic blending, and there are three separate settings for speed. It can pulse and there is also a setting for cleaning. I would definitely buy this again.

I tried my luck with this and really happy to say I found what I was looking for. I tried making a protein shake with lots of ice and it was not able to complete the task. It sounded like it was struggling and quickly stopped. It flashed a code and wouldn't restart. It got returned. Junk.

This is the best blender I’ve ever used! Granted, I just got it yesterday and used it once, it’s far and above better than the ninja IQ it replaced who’s pitcher cracked and seals gave out (just out of warranty of course). It’s crazy how easy to clean it is, and it turns ice into the smoothest snow cone consistency.

Due to dental surgery I am required to eat soupy to soft foods . This has worked perfect for my needs. Ground up spaghetti with sauce, noodle soup, I got everything to be soupy and delicious which was what I needed. And makes great smoothies!!!
