The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love summer and LOVE pool season, however I do not particularly love the constant cleaning of our pool! A clean and clear pool is a must but can be very time consuming especially when cleaning with just a hand vacuum and a pool net. With this Chasing robotic pool cleaner, the work is nearly all done for me! I can sit poolside, relax in my chair, with a cold drink while the pool cleaner gets ALL the mess - the dirt, sand, leaves, debris, insects and whatever else might be blown into the pool. It does a spectacular job! This cleaner does not just get the bottom of our pool clean, it will literally climb the walls of the pool to clean as well. I like that it goes up the wall and just beyond the water line. I use to take a rag and wipe down this area to get rid of scum that has built up and left marks or stains behind, but this takes care of that issue as well! I can get more relaxation soaking up the rays and less time skimming, sweeping AND scrubbing with this vacuum hard at work. The vacuum has a very strong suction which allows it to get the smallest of particles, it picks up everything that settles on the bottom of the pool and as mentioned the grime that might be accumulating on the walls of the pool. The brushes help with that task very well. My mother in law has a pool vacuum and I have seen her struggle with it because of all the cords and all the extra tubes. The cords would always get tangled up and the vacuum was just more of a nuisance than a help to her. I love that this vacuum doesn't get tangled up like that. There is no fuss with this one at all. I simply place the vacuum in the water and it knows exactly what to do - It will go straight to work. Additionally, my mother in law would have to pull the cord attached to her vacuum to get it back to the stairs of the pool so that she could put it back on charge. There is no chasing this pool vacuum down, another helpful feature. The great thing is you will never have it stop in the middle of the pool or in the deep end which can be an annoyance on days when you aren’t planning on actually getting in the pool and getting wet. When it has completed its cleaning job I simply press a button for it to return to the closest wall. It will return to the wall for me to easily lift it out. It does have some weight to it, it is hefty and definitely durable, it is very well made, but even with the weight of the cleaner I can easily lift it out of the pool by the handle. I by no means consider myself strong, but I do not have any issues carrying this from our patio to the poolside and vice versa. The great thing is it is built to stay out so if I choose to just leave it in the pool I can. As far as carrying it I would compare it to me carrying a bag of dog food, so not a very difficult task. It vacuums thoroughly and can do so in our large (20,000 gallon) in ground pool in well under two hours! Also when vacuuming with our regular handheld vacuum it is has many steps, very time consuming and also it wastes alot of water as after we are done vacuuming we have to back wash. So then we have to had more water to the pool. I like that we do not have to do any sort of backwashing. We are saving ourselves not only time but ultimately money as we are not constantly refilling the pool. That water bill can get pretty hefty over the summer if so. One of my favorite features is that I can quickly and easily operate it with my phone. I love this advanced technological approach. The app is super simple to navigate and makes controlling from afar doable. I like being able to schedule cleanings for certain times out of the day. This is especially a nice feature for when we are out of town. The vacuum does not have to be tended to and can be simply left in the pool while we are gone for a few days. It does not have a messy bag to deal with either which I love. Once the vacuum bin is filled I just empty the filter compartments and it is ready for next use! It is so quick and easy. I don’t have to empty the filter compartment often at all either because it is quite large (6 liters). Besides keeping up with the chemicals of the pool, this pool vac really does make keeping a clear and clean pool a cinch. It certainly has made our pool time much more enjoyable. While it takes care of large debris like leaves it knows the difference between large debris and my kids' toys that might be left behind. It will avoid such items and go around them. We can even swim while it’s at work, it will sense us and go right around us. It comes with a thorough instruction manual although it really is quite self explanatory in use. If you have never had a robot pool vacuum before though, the set up/start up procedure of the manual can be helpful. There is also a section for maintenance and trouble shooting that is handy. Thankfully, thus far we have not had any issues, but I like that if needed we have information to count on. I can’t brag enough on Steve (yes we named our robot cleaner). If you want more time actually enjoying your pool this year than cleaning it, then this is a must! I strongly recommend it, it has been a great addition. ... show more

    • Fatal Error after 30 Seconds

I received my CM600 and it received a fatal error after I ran it in the water for 30 seconds. Apparently during manufacturing the electronics box was not sealed and water got in and shorted the cleaners controls. It took over 1.5 months to get the cleaner fixed. I will say the service was very good, but I was disappointed in the length of time it took for a fix. I was excited to see how good the cleaner was, but I should have got a refund so I could get a different cleaner to clean my pool before the season ended. After using the fixed cleaner, I found the ability to control the cleaner from my phone nice. I am disappointed in the water line cleaning mode. the cleaner seemed to get lost and would then just wander around the pool. the product info leads one to believe the cleaner would clean the pool completely by going back and forth in a systematic way, mine did a pretty good job on the floor, but it seemed to wander around a lot. ... show more

Loved this product when I first received it and used it. Now, 3 months and 10 days later, it stopped working and the manufacturer will not respond to support contact via their email address. Amazon was no help at all because their return/refund window is closed. They don’t have contact information for the manufacturer either. So I’m out $1200+ for a piece of crap that doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY! I also just noticed that it is no longer in stock as well. DO NOT BUY! I’ve had pools since 2000 in 4 different homes and each time I’ve owned a Polaris cleaner. I was never really satisfied with the Polaris because it never was able to get the fine sand/silt from the pool so I always had to run the manual vacuum to get it really clean. Never again! This thing is the real deal and my pool has never looked and felt cleaner. It was easy setup and instantly cleaning. If I had to find one drawback, it is that the app only connects to the device if your phone is connected to the Wi-Fi broadcast from the controller. So you have to connect to its Wi-Fi, then open the app. Nuisance and not a deal breaker since it does such a tremendous job of cleaning. I’m only running it a couple times a week now instead of the Polaris running for 4 hours a day. I figure I’m saving 40-50% in electricity or more just by using this CM600 instead of the cleaner pump. I only wish I had bought this thing sooner. I bought this outright and did not receive any promotional pricing or incentives. It’s a beast that will clean your pool incredibly. For reference, my pool is rectangular, 16x35. Heck I even dropped it in my 9x9 spa and it worked great there as well! No muss, no fuss, no issues. Just a clean pool. ... show more

    • Quit working after two cleanings.

Cleaned my pool twice before the main control unit just gives a code of E00 on it and it won’t do anything. Has trouble climbing the sides on an above ground pool. It tries to climb the side and it doesn’t seem to adjust its speed down once it’s vertical to let it stick better, then it could speed back up after it sticks to the side with vacuum. It just goes fast and keeps bouncing off the wall, and falling away from it. It probably does this because unlike an in ground pool, an above ground one has the liner stretched like fabric which can press in an rebound making it throw the cleaner off the wall. Once in awhile it climbs it. It seems that this could be fixed with a program change, maybe have an above ground pool setting choice and an in ground one.
