This product arrives in a flat box that contains three pieces and a short USB to USB-C cable for powering it. The three pieces included are the base, the stand post, and the top hanging shelf for a headset. No detailed instructions were included, however the box does have some basic instruction on the back. It was not entirely clear how to connect these three pieces initially but after looking closely at the stand post, I saw one side had a slight indention to make room for the multi-color LED in the base. Installation involves firmly pressing the stand into the base, there are no clips so this is held in purely by friction. The same applies to the hanging shelf as well. Once powered, light will travel up a semi-transparent plastic window on the front half of the stand. Additionally, the same colors will be visible at the bottom of the base. Overall, I love the look of this stand. It is simple and functional. There are an additional two USB-C ports and one regular USB port provided in the mini-hub part of the base. There is not a lot of weight to this item so I might want to further secure it to the top of my PC with glue on magnets or double-sided adhesive. For my base in particular, the bottom is non-slip rubberized but is also slightly bowed outwards so the whole item rotates a little when I'm using it. This is likely a manufacturing flaw, as it appears this rubberized base was intended to prevent this type of movement. It's very subtle however and I should be able to fix it readily with something to help keep it in place. As a budget headset stand, this is a good value however and looks great. The lighting is simple via a front button, but has a nice variety of static colors, a color cycling mode which fades nicely, and an off mode.
