Did I need another cosmetics pouch? No, I did not, seeing as I have a whole collection to choose from. But I love this one; my new favorite. First of all, it has a very bougie look and feel, with the deep burgundy quilted velvet exterior and rose gold finished zippers/hardware. This is the mini size, by the way, but holds more than enough for me for travel (and everyday). I don't think the size is shown in the description: it's about 6.5" long and a bit under 3" on each side when zipped up (I love the diagonal zipper that allows it to close into a rectangular shape, but opens up flat). Inside are two main compartments, plus a thin zippered pocket in the center and a shallow but longish slip pocket on one side (fits a mini container or maybe lip/eye pencils). It was a bit hard to photograph and show the clever design, but I especially love the way it opens flat so you can see everything and not dig around. ... show more

I used each fold for a different part of my face - eyes, lips, skin, etc. i bought two for myself and then one for my daughter and my son’s girlfriend. This is truly a beautiful bag. I saw where some complained about the zipper, but mine as a heavy metal zipper that works great. I like the way it opens and you can stuff it full of your essentials. It is not as 'big' as I thought it might be, but it sure packs a punch when it comes to holding everything that you need or want to take with you. The fabric is beautiful and very soft and lush feeling. It is a little pricey. I did get it on sale, but even at sale price it is a little much.
