This eye cream goes on smooth and silky and absorbs quickly. It has a reflective value that makes the eye area look more refreshed. Once on it stays put and it doesn't pill up when adding additional lotions or foundation. It is scent free and comes in a refillable glass jar. I was worried that with daily use the Retinol would irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes but it doesn't. I do notice a softening of the lines around my eyes. In the before pic there are two lines that I can't see in the second photo. The two photos were taken less than a minute apart and in the exact same light. I've been using it for a week now and so far I really like the eye cream.

When I ordered this Magic Eye Rescue Eye Cream from Charlotte Tilbury I was not familiar with the brand. After a bit of research, I find that she is a world renowned makeup artist who launched her skincare/makeup brand in 2013. This is a luxury line of skin care and not inexpensive, so I was surprised when the product arrived in a box with no security sticker. Inside is a beautiful glass jar with a pretty gold top, which unfortunately does not have a seal either. I do hope that the brand will address this in the near future. Regardless, this is a beautifully textured, rich and silky cream that feels sumptuous in application. I wake up every morning with puffy eyes, but a small dot of this cream under each eye takes care of that immediately. It is not to do to caffeine either, which so many creams use... This cream is using soy peptides and hydrolyzed rice brand proteins to help with puffiness. These ingredients work quickly to improve blood flow and help to drain away stagnant fluids that cause puffiness. I also like that the cream is not sticky or greasy, and it does not dry down quickly. It works beautifully with my foundation with no pilling, and it leaves the area under my eye looking more youthful and hydrated all day long. Since it does have retinol and vitamin c in it, I do make sure to use a sunscreen if I'm going out for the day, but mostly I use this at bedtime. This cream has time released retinol in it, which is a technology that allows it to work gradually and more gently. It is also using Winter Daphne Stem Cell Extract, which can tighten and firm the skin in that area, while also helping to strengthen the skin barrier. There are also plenty of ingredients for hydrating (humectants) and softening/sealing in the moisture (emollients), plus Plumeria Rubra flower extract for soothing. What I don't like about this product is the amount of ethoxylated ingredients in it. It contains 3 PEGs, polysorbate 60 and phenoxyethanol, all of which are ethoxylated. To make these ingredients, they use ethylene oxide, a known carcinogen, and the process releases a toxic byproduct called 1,4- dioxane, which is another carcinogen. If stringent purification processes are not carried out the final product can be contaminated by the toxic byproduct. Because of this, I do try to limit my use of products using ethoxylated ingredients, but since this cream is made in Switzerland, a country known for clean manufacturing, I will continue using it. Even so, I am deducting one star for their presence. Currently this 15ml jar of cream is selling for $65. It is a high end cream using expensive stem cell and retinol ingredients, plus it takes a tiny dot to cover the needed area, and refills are available for less money. Having said all that, I think the price is justified.

This magic eye rescue cream comes beautifully package in a glass jar with a cute little packaging box that has rose gold stamping on it. It’s a thick rich consistency and a peachy colored cream, that goes on smoothly. It definitely leaves my skin feeling plump and moisturized not exactly greasy, but not entirely ungreasy either. I find myself putting this around my lips as well as my eyes before bedtime, and I wake up with skin feeling hydrated. For this price point, however I wish it came with a more sterile packaging or at the very least a little scoop. It’s nice, but I won’t be repurchasing .

I don't really try eye creams much, but the few that I have tried have left a residue like the cream just glues my skin to keep it smooth. This can become uncomfortable after a few hours. This cream makes my eyes feel moisturized all day. It doesn't seem to leave any caked residue. It's hard to know how much of a product I will get from the description. I uploaded a photo that This compares the size of the cream to a penny. I would guess that there is about an 8th of a cup of eye cream. However, it really only takes a tiny dot of cream to treat both eyes.

I love Charlotte Tilbury products and was over the moon to give this magic eye rescue cream a try. I have extremely sensitive skin and I’m super picky about products. This has a lot of ingredients in it, but I didn’t see anything I would normally have an issue with such as added fragrance, gluten or chamomile. It didn’t come with a seal around the jar or on the box which is interesting. Someone mentioned it has a subtle scent which concerned me, but when I tried it, it seemed completely free of fragrance… Maybe I am missing it though, but I didn’t smell anything, thankfully. I love the rich texture of this pink cream and didn’t seem to have any kind of initial reaction. The first time I tried it, I did it at night and by morning time I didn’t think my eye area necessarily looked better, and I found that they were watering a lot for some reason. So then I decided to put it on again for daytime and found that it paired well with my make up, no issues there. But as the day went on, my eyes started watering a lot again, and I didn’t feel like the area looked as plumped as it does with the eye serum I usually use. There must be something in this eye cream that is bothering me, but I can’t quite pinpoint what it is. Also, for as much as I love the aesthetics of the beautiful jar, I much prefer a pump or a tube so that I don’t have to continually dip my finger in. I might give it a few days off and try it again to see if I have better luck, but I have a feeling that something about this eye cream doesn’t agree with me sadly…too bad because I really wanted to love it.
