I'm trying not to be too biased, but I do just adore and love Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics. This product is no exception. It comes packaged nicely and the product is in a squeezaable tube. This is a normal applicator for CT products, you just open, squeeze out some product and dab it on your face where you need some contouring, or bronzing. It comes in 7 different levels of darkness, I got the fair/medium color for myself because I'm kinda pale. I had big dreams of having a great tan this summer, but it didn't work out so I have CT to give me a little color. The application is simple enough, you pull the top off, twist the lower part of the top applicator to open it, then squeeze the product onto the fluffy top and you are ready to go! I then dab where I need contour and then I use a brush to blend into my makeup or primer or whatever, then finish with some setting spray and you are good to go 👍🏻 With 7 colors to choose from, anybody should be able to find a suitable shade for your skin color. The price may seem steep at first, but this product lasts and lasts and provides such a nice finish that it really is very reasonable with how much use you can get out of it. So, go get your glow on boys and girls and contour away with this lovely product. Put it on top of your CT primer and you'll look stunning.

I have to admit that I am a fan of Charlotte Tilbury makeup. However, I have never used contouring makeup before so I wasn’t sure I would like it. I chose the fair/medium shade for my medium complexion. I first tried it in the hollows of my cheeks. You twist the top of the tube and the color comes up through the sponge applicator. The makeup is sheer and melted easily into the foundation I was wearing. Although I used the applicator, I also used my fingers to smooth it where I wanted it. I really didn’t think that having hollow cheeks was a great look for me. I decided to try it on my nose which is not too wide, but could use a more refined look. Oh my, I loved this effect. My nose looked thinner and more chiseled. I checked it from the side to make sure it didn’t look like a big brown smudge on the side of my nose, but it seemed to blend in without a demarcation. I was very pleased to be able to create this effect despite my inexperience with contouring. This is not something I would bother with everyday, but would certainly use for a special night out. The only negative I have is that the tube felt like it was almost half empty at the first use. This line of makeup is pricey, but if that is not an issue I would recommend this item..

I've been using the Charlotte Tilbury contour wand in the fair/medium shade, and overall I think it's a really solid product. The applicator makes it simple to place the product where you want it, and it blends out well enough that even someone without much contouring experience can get a nice result. I like how lightweight the formula feels and how natural the finish can look once it's smoothed in with a brush. On my cheeks it gives good definition, but I've found I like it even more for subtle shaping along my nose and jawline. The color itself works, though I feel it leans a little warmer than expected for something labeled as fair/medium, so depending on your undertone it may or may not be the perfect match. The sponge tip is fine for applying, but I usually grab another brush to finish blending since it can leave a visible line if you don't. Price-wise, it's not cheap, but you don't need to use much product at a time, so it balances out. For me this is more of a special occasion step than an everyday routine item, but it does deliver a polished look when I want it. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it works well, it does need a little extra finessing.

I was so excited to finally get my hands on the Charlotte TilburyHollywood Contour Wand. I picked up the Fair/Medium shade since I’m fair-complected, and it works beautifully as a subtle bronzer. The applicator is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Just a tip: when you twist the top open, squeeze a little product out, then twist it closed again before applying. That way, if you accidentally squeeze while blending, you won’t end up with too much product. I usually just work with what comes out on top of the applicator, and it’s plenty. The consistency is really nice and it blends smoothly and evenly. A little goes a long way, so even though the price point is higher than some other products, it lasts a long time and feels worth it.
