When we first opened it I thought uh-oh. This is not going to work. But after I looked it up and double-checked, the listing was correct. My 2021 14-in MacBook pro can be charged with this charger even though the appearance of it is different than the original. The original has a magnetic charger which often comes unplugged which can be a royal pain. This will plug into the port on the side for c plugs and it will charge the laptop. I looked it up and that is what that Port can be used for as well so that you can charge your phone or your laptop vice versa in that port. Just plug the c cord into that port and the other end into the charger. Unfold the prongs, plug it in and you're ready to go just like an original charger but better this one's not going to fall out. It charges very quickly. It is heavy duty. The block does not get hot. The computer does not get hot. Would recommend. Probably better than the original. How many times I've come to my desk and the charger had fallen out of the power strip that it was hanging on. This one doesn't do that. ... show more

Both will be useful to me together and used separately. I currently have an iPhone 13Pro and have trouble finding the right power block to adequately charge it. I often have the right C to Lightning cable, but charging doesn't occur because I have the wrong power block. This 100W charger with a sleek, trendy look and a foldable plug that folds out of the way when on the move. I can also use the C to C for fast charging other equipment with a USB-C charge port. The cable is sturdy and not flimsy like other non-OEM cables I have used in the past, and the attached cable tie makes keeping the cable needly coiled when not in use super easy.
