I’ve gone through my fair share of MacBook chargers, and honestly, most third-party ones either don’t hit the full wattage, run hot, or feel cheap. This one? Total opposite. It’s been rock solid from the moment I plugged it in. The first thing I noticed was the cable... it’s braided, long enough at 6.6ft, and even has a little LED so you know it’s connected. Way nicer than the stock Apple cords that always fray. It feels premium, like it’s actually going to last. Performance wise, my 16-inch MacBook Pro charges fast, even when I’ve got it running hard with editing software and external displays. No slowdown, no battery drain while working. It just keeps up. I also tested it on my MacBook Air and iPad, and it handles those perfectly too. One charger for everything is a win. Another big plus... it doesn’t overheat or make weird noises like some other high-wattage adapters I’ve tried. It just quietly does its job. And the black finish looks clean on the desk. Bottom line is, if you’re looking for a backup or a replacement that feels like original quality (but without the Apple price tag), this is the one. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

This 140W Power Adapter & 2m charging cable set holds it’s own, right next to Apple’s OEM brick. After using this product, I recommend it whether as a primary adapter or as a secondary for travel/office. I’m not an electrical engineer, so my opinion is consumer based without benefit of bench testing, but I’ll share what I observed in both the set’s strong & weak points. The adapter mimics the 140W Apple adapter in size and input/output specs exactly. Some reviewers have said it’s far too large a size for their purposes, or when compared to the adapter supplied with their device. In this case, the 140W Power Adapter is what’s packed with the MacBook Pro 16 Inch M1 & later (2021-) computers. That said, this adapter can be used with other USB-C devices requiring less wattage, but this is the largest adapter with the highest wattage currently offered in Apple’s lineup. Per Anker, for example, various Apple devices come with adapters that range between 41-140 watts. “The iPhone automatically adjusts the amount of power required according to its needs, so using a higher-power charger will not harm the device,” making this a useful addition for many Apple users because it’s on the high end of wattages. Some positive points: the charger possesses an excellent build quality with a precise USB-C port and an easy to remove AC “duckhead” plug (for example for use when connecting this adapter to the wall with Apple’s 1.8m Power Adapter Extension Cable.) Sliding that part off to connect the extension is smooth, and easy to do. The USB-C port is perfectly cutout and holds either the MagSafe charging cable or a 240W PD 5A Fast Charging USB C to USB C Charger Cable, for example. According to my computer, it charges at the full 140W, as labeled. It’s a nice touch that the manufacturer provides a 2m charging cable, but there are other 3rd party cables that have an improved design. They added something Apple hasn’t included in their own MagSafe cables, a silicone interface, or sheath, that reinforces the cable at the point it’s attached to the MagSafe connector. A nitpicky detail, perhaps, but I would have preferred that type of cable over the one that came with this adapter. Of note, however, the cable’s charging indicator light functions exactly as it should, glowing either green or amber, in various charging states. All in all, this adapter performs very well with my MacBook and has no functional issues. The computer used with this cable is: MacBook M3 Pro 2023 36GB Silver, T Athink 140W charging brick & Apple’s 1.8m Power Adapter Extension Cable ($19,,) for maximum length & flexibility. In closing: Though the product was provided free of charge under Amazon's Vine program, I used the item as I would any purchase, and wrote an unbiased, honest review based on my experience.

Picked this up to power my Avalon Nano 3 and it has been working great for over a month now. I have been running this constantly at 100 watts, 24/7 for the past month and have not had any issues. I would recommend this charger to anyone looking for a 140W USB C Charger.

I was pleased when I opened this item because it was very well-built of quality materials. The finish is smooth and it feels sturdy. It's nice that the electrical prongs are removable--that allows me to use my European adapters when I'm traveling. The woven cable is also high-quality. It's flexible, and the woven cover means that it will be less prone to kinks and the normal wear-and-tear that happens when quickly packing and unpacking. The charger works very well at keeping my MacBook Pro charged. Since the charger's cable port is USB-C, I can disconnect the cable and plug in another cable with a USB-C adapter and use it to charge my Dell laptop, too. Nice that I can carry one charger and keep both my laptops charged during a long day. I'm very pleased with this item and would gladly recommend it.

For my initial impressions and usage on the first day, it’s perfect! Very impressed with quality and build of the charging block and charging cable. I’ve had 3rd party blocks and cable for my old MacBook Pro, and you can tell they’re made a little cheaper than the original. However, the quality of this one matches what Apple provides with the new MacBook Pro. You can barely tell which one is the original from this one, aside from not having the Apple logo. The magnet on the charging cable is strong, and charges right away. No noticeable overheating of the block. It’s nice to have an extra set of charging block/cable to leave at home on my desk, and leave another in my laptop bag when I’m on the go for convenience.

I got this adapter as a spare to keep at home when I bring my laptop home from work. It saves me having to pack up the power adapter. It definitely works well and has lots of power. It is huge though just to warn you. It's about 2-3 times larger than the one that came with my laptop.

This power brick charges my macbook pro in a jiffy. It looks like an apple charger but has much greater output. It's a bit heavy so I leave it permanently in my office ready to charge the laptop when needed. I use the original apple one as a travel adapter since it is quite lighter. When charging it stays pretty cool. You can use it to charge any other device - as long as you have the right cable for it.
