I needed a new charger for my 2020 13-inch Dell Inspiron laptop, which I bought back when I lived in Indonesia, after my old charger started fraying. I bought this charger on a Thursday and it was delivered to my apartment the very next day! The charger comes with an adapter for those who need the larger tip as well as a cable to plug the brick into the outlet. I used the new charger with the old AC plug, and I'm happy to report that it in fact is compatible! Note that the LED they use is a *very* bright green so it's hard to miss if it's charging or not. The smaller round tip didn't go all the way into my laptop, but to be fair, that could also be because part of the old charger *might* be stuck in my laptop. Whatever. It worked anyway and that's what matters. Need a replacement charger? This one's got your back!

I’ve been using my dell laptop for months with a dead battery because it would no longer recognize the charger (apparently a common issue). I wanted to update my BIOS, but it won’t update without 30% battery charge, so I wanted to try a new charger and opted for this one. As soon as I plugged this one in and turned my laptop on, there was a very warm spot at the bottom of the unit and my laptop now doesn’t recognize the hdd and won’t boot. I haven’t measured the voltage, but my assumption is that a voltage surge hit the hdd and toasted it. Purchase at your own risk. Should be a zero star review.

Works well on an older Dell laptop. Only 4 stars since the adapter for using the larger power-jack falls off easily (I ended up taping the two pieces together). This would not apply if the smaller style jack is used without the included adapter. Regardless of that minor annoyance, this is an unbeatable deal at this price ant as a bonus the "brick" part of the adapter is noticeably more compact than the OEM and much easier to travel with.
