Very easy to use and clean. The thermostat is a bit off so I just use the probe to monitor the temp and use another digital thermometer for the meat.

Bought this to replace the exact same model that I've had for 7 years and admittedly didn't take care of like I should have done. This is a great smoker which I plan to take better care of this time and expect it will last as long as I do. Holds temp precisely, has an accurate thermometer for telling you when your meat is done and is relatively easy to clean. Ample space for your wood chips and plenty of shelves for smoking a variety of food. Would buy again but don't expect that I'll have to since these things don't seem to ever wear out with normal care. ... show more

We tried this smoker immediately and have used it weekly since. Maintains the perfect temperature without the need of constantly checking. Nothing to do but add your desired wood chip flavor, set the temperature, and several hours later enjoy awesome smoked food. So far we have done wings, ribs, brisket and a pork butt, all came out delicious. I was hesitant to buy an electric smoker thinking you needed that flame, charcoal, etc. to get truly great flavors, but I was wrong. This is one of the best purchases I've made! ... show more

Assembly was easy and minimal effort required. Remote control is a nice touch as I can control the smoker from my chair and make adjustments as needed, as well as making it easy to monitor the time and temperature. Have used it almost every weekend and the food turns out perfect every time. Takes a little practice at first as to cooking times since cooking recipes vary between smokers, but have not been disappointed in the end results. ... show more

We love this smoker. As it says , with the remote you do NOT have to baby sit it. Plenty large enough for the wife and me. Was worried about 1 star reviews. However, it was not the CURRENT problems if you note the DATES. It was couple years ago. You will be PLEASED with the results and purchase...... Be aware! Deluxe Model means, glass door and remote. Not DELUXE in the description means solid door and NO REMOTE. Hope that this helps... ... show more

    • Not a low temperature smoker - must be 200 degrees or more
I’m dissaponted because the design of the chip/pellet box is so heavy and thick walled and, is placed in a manner within the unit too far from the heat source, that it will only smoke well at higher temps. No low temperature smoking even tho you can select lower temperatures for the burner. The temperature has to be set at least around 180 to get a little smoke and works better at default temp of 200 degrees or more. ... show more
