Description

Cover more ground in less time by adding a boom system to your tractor, ATV, or UTV. Chapin’s 6429 2-nozzle boom kit has a 7-feet spray pattern. You can easily adjust the height of the nozzles so it does not get stuck or damaged on different terrain. Pair it with a minimum 2 GPM pump. The powder-coated steel frame is durable and the seals stand up to standard lawn and garden chemicals.

I was able to attach it to the Ironton 13Gallon tow behind broadcast sprayer by simply using a longer center screw that allowed me room for the Ironton bolts to post the rail directly on. I get 6 feet of coverage per sweep with this setup. Would be more if placed higher up. I didn't need to upgrade to a 2gpm pump, it worked great with the 1gpm unit. Package ripped. and one of the hanging bars was missing. Made it hard to mount lower to the ground off atv rack.

The media could not be loaded. Overall i do like this. Just used it for the first time. Bolted on to my polaris sportsman with holes already on my quad. One of the nozzle tips we broken but comes with 2 spares. Also cheap to replace. Solid bracket. Doesn’t feel cheap. I will be using it to spray wisdom pesticide on my lawn and for weed killer on the area where i put in food plots. Overall I recommend buying it. ... show more

Like alot of the other reviews i was also missing parts. The brackets, i got the bolts for it and nozzles but not the brackets, made it work on my general xp bed. Also using it with the little 15gal chapin with the 1.1 pump and it's working flawless. Very Strong spray onto ground and my sxs sits pretty high and ground is soaked with just being on for a few seconds. Hose connected no problem to the pump. I'll probably get a splitter to run them both instead of disconnecting them when I wanna switch back and forth. Not alot pics when I was shopping so wanted to try and give a decent review. Would buy again, 3 star because clearly the company can't figure out to put all the right parts in a box even after all the poor reviews saying "missing parts" or would have been 5 star. ... show more

All the hose clamps and every was tight right out of the box. Mounted it on the back of my cart to just try it with water and the smallest nozzles and I’m impressed with it hooked to my little 15 gallon sprayer. Can’t wait to get my 40 gallon mix on exit tank from Amazon

Overall for the cost there is nothing to complain about. Easiest way to install on ATV is to mount the brackets it comes with flat on the rear rack. The kit comes with just enough bolts to make this work without buying any additional (x6). Use two bolts for each flat bracket so they don't move. Then drill two holes in the boom frame for the remaining 2 bolts so it will attach to the brackets. I covered the bolt heads with electrical tape so it would not add additional wear to the bottom of my 25gal tank that will rest on top of the brackets. ... show more

Received with hole in box & missing 1 upright attachment bracket. The box that it's in won't hold up to the United States Postal Service. Called Chapin & they're sending out the part.
