Description

Chapin’s 25 gallon utility water tank allows you to be prepared in the field or indoors. The poly tank is chemical-resistant and made with UV-resistant poly. It’s translucent so you can see the liquid level and the 6-inch tank opening makes it easy to fill. Quickly empty the tank using the 1-inch drain and the drain cap is attached with a lanyard so it can’t be misplaced. You can transport it on a truck, trailer, or tractor. Made in the USA with global materials and backed by Chapin’s 1-year limited warranty.

You're not going to find a tank with this capacity for this low of a price, they all cost a lot more and they charge huge amounts for shipping. I bought 2 of these and they fit perfectly in the back hatch of my SUV, i can haul 80 gallons of water. The only drawback is that you must make sure you use lots of Teflon plumbers tape when screwing on the adapter nozzle. The first time I didn't use any and it leaked a lot. Second time I used a lot of Teflon tape on that adapter seal, and it only had a small drip leak. It was manageable. ... show more

Love them! We have these for our mobil chicken tractors. They hold 15 gallons. And last our chickens 2 to 4 days. Very helpful that these come molded with a male 3/4inch hose fitting. All you have to do it connect your hose. We have it paired with the little giant 1.5 pint auto fill water cups.

    • Huge pain - terrible quality seal

The 2" drain cap leaks like crazy. I messed with it for a half hour reseating the cap and the washer a ton of times - this was after I had filled the container with a good amount of water (40 gallons of water would be 300 lbs so you aren't going to be able to move this thing). I have it about half full so this was extremely heavy and a true pain in the ass. I had it inside in a place I couldn't just dump it. It's basically worthless until I can figure out some kind of sealant that actually works. I feel like returning this thing would be a huge pain because it's so large. I'm just going to try and order some kind of sealant caulk or more washers. Buyer beware - this thing is a nightmare to deal with trying to fix a leaking connection.... ... show more

Love that it is made in America, first of all. I've bought tanks for RV use, etc., and this is really an amazingly well made storage tank. The gasket on the 2” drain cap leaks . You will need to use a silicone sealant to stop leaking.
