Belt sizing is actually pressed into the spots you're supposed to cut when sizing it to yourself. Ratcheting feels authoritative and firm. Releasing the ratchet is easy but usually requires 2 hands (one to hold the release, the other to pull the belt out of the ratchet). Leather feels of good thick quality. Good quality, but why is it so hard to buy a good, simple belt anymore. This belt is fine, good quality material, the sizing is accurate, and we will see how it holds up. But, I would prefer not to have a craft project when I just want a new belt. Cutting the belt to length is simple—the guide lines work really well. Instructions for attaching the buckle/ratchet are not clear. It's not too hard to figure out, but clearer instructions would be nice. Mostly, though, the biggest negative is that I would like the buckle to bit a little bit thinner so that it didn't rub against my belly when I sit down. This is a really nice belt overall and very helpful for anyone with physical or coordination limitations. It was very easy to cut to length and assemble, and it operates flawlessly. The leather quality seems good and the buckle looks nice with a good, solid feel to it.

This is amazing, looks great, durable construction. You can easily trim it down to correct size with scissors and it fits great. It seems to keep it shape as well after wearing (many previous ones would bough out after a few months). Easy to get the right fit and adjust on the move without unbuckling it. I bought two (different colors) and both are the same quality and do not look cheap AT ALL. Easily pass as fancy pants belt. Definitely recommended - never going back to hole belts again ... show more

Needed to replace a belt and with the unique style of this belt it fit perfectly. Easy to figure out how to assemble (the buckle on the end) and it’s great to get the exact fit and not have to work if there is a hole in the right spot! I will definitely purchase again when it’s time for a new belt.
