I originally bought this belt because I was searching for a replacement for a similar style ratcheting belt I got on Kickstarter years ago. I couldn't find an exact copy but this one seemed like it was well enough liked and looked like good quality. I really have no issues with the belt at all except it's too long and that one's on me, and it can so be remedied easily too. The leather the belts made from seems like good quality and has lasted extremely well for a while now without really showing much is any wear and tear. This is also coming from somebody on the bigger side so the belt really needed to hold up. I don't rewmmw we how long I've had it now but I still use it at the time of this review and I really see no wear on it. The color of the leather works well with everything and the buckle is rally nice. It has a hefty good feel to it like it's good quality and the finish on the metal is really nice, it's smooth and sort of satiny feeling, idk but in all it comes together to look and operate like something high quality. The rachet mechanism on this is different than my previous belt but this one is so much smoother and I love it. My old one I had to seem to mess with it more to get it to click and lock right. This belt, when you get used to how it works is such a nice design that you can flip in a second or two with one hand if you need to change it quickly. The way the mechanism is made has the small lever on the top of the buckle so you hold and hit it with your thumb and it unlocks and easily adjusts. For this reason I don't exactly know about the reversibiloty of it because if it went the other way the lever would be on the bottom on the buckle and I haven't really tried operated it be cause it feels like it's upside down after using it like this. Overall I get too excited about things that just work and work well for what they're intended for and this is one of those things. Its just nice and satisfying and it just works and you dot have to fuss with something too much. The last thing I just realized I like a whole back was when I looked at the back of the belt, on the leather is stamped on the different waist sizes, so when the belt is too long, you can unhook the buckle with it's little teeth that bite into the leather to hold onto it with a little lever on the back side. Then you just cut the leather at whatever number pants size line you want your belt to be, slip the new cut end of the belt back into the beckle and latch the teeth and now your belt is whatever size you wanted it. Obviously you can't make it bigger so I just ordered big but I didn't expect it to be so easy to shorten either which was great. Overall I would buy another one if this one ever wore out or it's so convenient yiu could just get your own new strip of leather and dye and stitch that however you see fit and hook it to the buckle and new belt. I may actually just made different color strips and styles just so I can move the buckle around to different leather. Or I may honestly just buy another color to have options with less work too.

this is one cool belt and buckle. excellent quality. order the size you need, and if need a slight fine tuning on length, ypu can cut at the markings easily with a razor knife and put back together easily and try. don't cut a lot, try each time. what one little section piece i cut was repurposed for the cat to have a toy to bat around. she loves it. and this belt and buckle are fantastic. clicks as you tighten it and easily released when needed. excellent price too.

Love this belt. It's been amazing and holds up so well. Definitely a product I support. Durable, easy to operate for me, and stylish. My wife has an issue with getting the latch to work properly, but that's more her not knowing what to do than anything else.

I recently picked up the CHAOREN Men’s Leather Ratchet Belt (35mm), and while I can’t speak yet to the long-term material quality, I can confidently say this belt delivers on convenience and style. It was incredibly easy to cut down to the right size for a custom fit; the instructions were clear, and the process took just a few minutes. The ratchet mechanism took a little trial and error at first, but once I got the hang of it, I became an expert in locking and unlocking it with ease. It feels secure, yet it’s super easy to adjust on the fly; no more dealing with belts that are either too tight or too loose. This one sits exactly where I want it every time. Bonus points: it looks sharp and feels great when worn; a smart upgrade from traditional belts.

The buckle and belt are hefty and seem like they'll last for a long time. I love the micro adjustments via the ratchet system and the carbon fiber buckle looks really cool. It helps to pick the overall waist size and you can still adjust the size by cutting down if needed. The product is as advertised and exceeded my expectations. Even the box and packaging it was shipped had a classy air. I highly recommend and may end up buying a different version.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ratcheting belts are definitely the way to go! The small adjustments give you a perfect fit as opposed to regular belts one inch holes. I got the rough leather and it's great.

I cannot believe how good this belt is!!! It’s the first time I bought a ratchet belt and I can guarantee I will never buy any other kind of belt again. The quality on this particular belt is outstanding. It looks like it costs 2 or 3 times the price. The buckle works incredibly well and it’s so easy to adjust. This is a winner for sure!
