Not only were the stools much better quality than I expected for the price, they were super easy to assemble. Each stool took under 3 minutes. They also sent a few extra bolts for "just in case" purposes. They were packed VERY well with only a couple pieces of packing tape. (No need to fire up the chainsaw to get into the box). The leg protectors may have been the best of all. They weren't bubble wrapped and taped with 100 layers of packing tape that you caused you fear that you will damage the item in the box, just trying to get it open. ... show more

REVIEW UPDATE: Chanjie Furniture provided EXCELLENT customer service and worked quickly to resolve my problem. I will definitely support and do business with them in the future. The Changjie swivel bar stool is made well, yet I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the false advertisement of the size! The seat IS NOT 16.1inches in width, BUT an itty bitty 11.75 inches (NOT even a FOOT!) The bar stools I was replacing are an actual 16 inches, as you can see in the photos uploaded. I can barely sit comfortably in the stools and I am a petite 5’3” and 117 pounds. My average size parents, daughter, and family & friends CANNOT fit their behinds in the stools. I ended up keeping them and just took the back off 2 of them (for less restriction) to place at my kitchen bar table instead of my counter bar which I originally purchased them for. Not sure what I will do with the other 2. TOO MUCH HASSLE to return. SHAME ON CHANGJIE for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and wasting my money and time! PSA: Find a better sized stool!!!! ... show more

These island stools are perfect for a modern, clean look. They are simple to assemble and the swivel is an added bonus. I actually see these stools everywhere and I knew they would be a perfect addition to my new kitchen island. Also, I really wanted a gray or white distressed seat, but the combination was not available. However, when I saw the contrast with the brown seat and my floors I wasn't too excited. I sent a quick message via amazon and this amazing company understood the ASSIGNMENT! They FedEx'd me 4 new seats that marry perfectly with my kitchen even though it was not one of their options. The chairs are nice and sturdy. However I got the swivel chairs, which is a nice, except when you have kids. They like to hold on to the bottom of the chair and spin. They have gotten fingers caught between multiple times. So just be warned if you have kids.

Working on redoing our kitchen and this is just what I was looking for. The price was right, they swivel, and have the look I was trying to find. Assembly wasn't too bad. I did add some cushion on the bottom because some of the bolts were sticking out far enough that I thought it might still scratch my floors. They are not overalls comfortable but for a young family, they will work fine. Overall, these have been a great purchase. I will try to update once I have them for a while. ... show more

These came packaged well. You do have to put the tops on the bottom legs but, there are instructions and it wasn’t hard. I was a little nervous these wouldn’t hold up well considering we have friends who are 350lbs but they visit often and the stools are sturdy and have not shown any wear and tear. I’ve had these for about 4 months now and we use them daily. I get so many compliments on them as well! ... show more
