We purchased this screen for our backyard batting cage, and are extremely happy with it. We use the Heater 12x24x12 cage system and needed a screen since we're choosing to not use a pitching machine except on occasion. With the Heater brand using an arch system, we thought a regular L-screen wouldn't be appropriate, so the first thing that drew us to this screen was its Z design. Secondly, the price was affordable compared to other screens, so that was a bonus. The screen arrived quickly and was safely packaged. I was really impressed by how nice it was when I pulled it out of the box. The parts are nice, nicely welded and have some weight to them, its not flimsy. It literally took maybe 5 minutes to assemble the parts forming the Z shape, and then maybe another 5 minutes to put the net over the screen. It came with 4 stakes to use on the screens legs to keep them in place, but from our use, they arent needed. Its not moving. My son is 12, has an exit velocity of over 70+ mph and the screen took quite a few of them with ease. Remember, our cage is only 24 ft long, and he's maybe 17 feet away from me, so those balls are easily zooming at the net close to 100 mph. The screen is awesome. The one thing I think the manufacturer can improve on is that they also give you 5 bungee ties to use on the bottom of the net to keep it in place. We chose to not use them, and instead used 4" black zip ties and zip tied each side of the net on alternating sides. This keeps the net down closer to the horizontal base pole that supports the legs. Ive been hit in the foot once before by one of my sons hits and my toe was purple for a month, so this made more sense to us and I think they should maybe consider switching to the zip ties instead of the bungee cords. If you need a nice, affordable, well made screen, then please consider this one. I think you'll find it to be a nice product and definitely a smart decision if you're planning on standing in front of a batter and pitching some BP to them. ... show more

    • Works like it's supposed to
This bounceback screen was a pleasant surprise. Despite the good reviews, I was still ready for it to not work exactly the way it should. But it's great, grounders and pop-ups just like it says, and my kid (11 years old) can work on accurate throws as well as his fielding skills. And it's fun! My son loves baseball and to help him improve his fielding we needed a product that would help. This rebounding net was one of the best purchases I have ever made. It works well with grounders, Line drives and pop up fly balls. Of course I know other items and products will help but I noticed an incredible improvement in my son’s play and confidence level. It’s not to heavy to move and the assembly didn’t take to long, I would say the net was the most difficult to put on. It does come with stakes which was a nice surprise, because I was worried about how steady it would be when a ball was thrown into it. The size is of this can take up some space, but we mainly keep it outside, though this product is nice to have when his baseball friends come over and they want to get some practice in.     • Great quality for the money!
This is tje second pitchback I bought this year! The first was just a cheap youth pitchback from walmart. Although it worked, my 9 yr. Old son threw a basebal through it in 3 hrs! We have had this one for about a month now and it is still like new. The net is really strong to withstand fast pitches. The only problem he had was he hit one of the springs and it flew off and we couldn't find it so now his rebounds aren't accurate, but it gives him more accuracy and exercise. Also, this unit is much larger than I expected. It's over 5 ft tall, can be used for adults as well. Very sturdy, would purchase again, but probably won't have to because this one will last forever! ... show more

I needed an L screen to pitch to my High School age son. It is sturdy enough to take the line drives the older kids are hitting and it is very quick to put together. The screen has a nice carry case as well so it is easy to just throw in my truck, carry to the field with all the other gear and put it up. The netting is very durable.     • Sturdy Rebound Net with Minor Safety Concerns
The Pitchback Screen Rebound Net has undoubtedly added value to our practice sessions, providing consistent and effective rebounds that enhance our ball training. Its sturdiness and response are commendable. However, there's a slight hiccup in the design - the springs that attach the net to the frame. We noticed that if a ball hits these springs directly, they can detach and fly off unpredictably. This poses a potential safety concern, especially when younger players are involved. Fortunately, the included stakes offer decent anchorage, but for extra safety and peace of mind, we found that supplementing with a couple of sandbags does the trick. Overall, this is a great product, but I'd urge the manufacturer to take a closer look at the spring mechanism or offer clearer safety guidelines. ... show more
