I picked up the CHAMPKEY Deluxe Grip Repair Kit for Regripping Golf Clubs after deciding to try regripping my driver myself instead of driving 30 minutes to a golf shop. After watching a couple how to videos, I gave it a shot and honestly it was way easier than expected. The kit even comes with instructions, which was a nice bonus and made the process even simpler. Everything you need is included, and it feels like there’s enough supplies to regrip pretty much your whole bag if needed. From start to finish, the whole process only took me about 5 minutes. Pros: Comes with everything needed Includes instructions Easy to use, even for beginners Saves time and money Enough supplies for multiple clubs Cons: None so far Overall: Great kit if you want to learn how to regrip your own clubs. Super easy process and definitely worth doing yourself.

If you're just getting into learning to re-grip your own clubs, this package contains all that you really need to get started. The tape is pre-cut size, and works with standard-length grips. The hook knife is sharp enough, and doesn't require you to have your own utility knife body. The rubber shaft vise holder seems to be sturdy, but I don't own a vise, so it didn't help me much. I tried using it with clamps, and it held the club securely. One complaint is that the solvent bottle is opaque (not see through), so you don't really know how much is left, or how much you've squeezed into the grip. The bottle is also a bit tough to squeeze. The solvent is re-usable if you catch it in a contain, so technically there's a lot more of it than the bottle suggests. A good starting value for learning to re-grip your clubs, instead of having to find individual pieces and hope they all work well

Definitely gets the job done the only thing I think I can critique is the amount of solution, if you’re doing a full set I recommend getting 2 bottles. Installation was easy and buying this was a great value. I will be buying again.

I had to regrip a 52 degree wedge, and ordered a new GolfPride grip and this kit. I looked at an instructional video before proceeding. The hook tool worked really well for me, and the old grip was off in 10 seconds. Then I cleaned off as much of the old adhesive with a scrub daddy. I didn’t get it all off, but figured it would be better than going over the old. Then I put on the new adhesive, following the instructions of leaving a bit over the end of the shaft and then tucking it in. Putting the new grip on is where the video helped. The key is to use a lot of the solvent. Stick a tee in the grip hole and load it up. This will keep the grip from getting stuck mid-install. It’s a bit messy, but in the end it goes fast and you’re all set. The new grip looks and feels great, with no instability. Couldn’t have done it without this kit!
