I like these overall and wear them often - however I had to stretch them out (pulling on the elastic until some of the threads started to rip we've all been there) to fit. If I had gone a size up they'd be too big though. As someone with big hips and a short torso I don't think these are the best fit for my body type. I don't wear them for fashion I'll just say that lol. The product overall is solid though nothing wrong, just not meant for a petite but thick body. ... show more

I wear a size 14 which equates to an extra large in most things. I have an hour glass figure with large breasts and butt. I had to buy these in 2xl to get comfortable. I like to roll the band over in all my shorts so they fit lower. Because my waist is smaller a lot of shorts want to gravitate around my waist and not my hips- but I prefer them on hip.
