Should have read the reviews on here before purchasing. Specifically need a 53cm ball as per my PT and couldn't find one anywhere that wasn't $50 or more. This seemed like a solid purchase but it is decidedly not. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag that when opened, released this almost cherry-like smell that hasn't dissipated even days later. And when I looked for a provided pump, which is pretty standard with most balls, or at the very least an air release trigger, there was utterly nothing. Something that was not made clear in the product info. I bought a sports ball air pump to blow it up and it doesn't work with it (the pump is likely too small) and blowing it up with my own breath only elicits a partial fill that leaks pretty quickly. A pain to blow up as it doesn’t come with a pump. That wasn’t obvious when I purchased it and that was just an added expense. Doesn’t hold air very well.

This is the perfect size and I like the burst proof guarantee - would hate landing unexpectedly on my tush! What the heck is up with the waxy/greasy coating on the ball? I used Goo Gone and then Windex on it to remove the coating. It remains a bit tacky but that will probably keep me from sliding off the ball ... :) At least there's no longer and waxy transfer. Overall a very good ball! ... show more

Great so far. I use it at work instead of a chair and am happy other than that if I had knows, I would have gone with a size larger... if you're short (5'2") and using for a chair, don't go by your height... you have to fill it until it's full in order to reach the desk... but this makes it too firm (which actually makes it painful on the buttocks after a full day). I will reorder a bigger one. Great otherwise. Oh, and at first I thought it was leaking air, because it became squashy, but I think it just stretched out after the first week because I refilled it and now I have to let air out because it's so firm.... mine is not leaking. ... show more
