For projects, the 420cc Champion single-cylinder OHV engine has what it takes to handle a multiple of power tools and large equipment you need to get the job done. Champion’s got convenience covered. Starting and stopping your generator from up to 80 feet away with the wireless remote key fob is a snap. The convenient electric start includes a battery, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather. Champion’s Intelligauge monitors voltage, frequency and operating hours. The foldaway easy-grip handle and included wheel kit with never-flat tires make it a cinch to move your power where you need it. At 9375 starting watts and 7500 running watts, this unit can handle it all in an outage – lights, refrigerator, modem/router, security system, window AC, furnace blower, TV, computer, phone charger and more. Not only that, but the Volt Guard built-in surge protector prevents overloads and keeps your equipment safe from spikes in voltage. All the outlets have covers to protect them from moisture and dirt and include four 120V 20A GFCI protected household outlets (5-20R), a 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R) and a 120/240V 50A outlet (14-50R). Machine started right up the first time I tried this. It's not real loud so won't bother neighbors when the power goes out. Easy instructions on how to put this all together. Wife likes the black and yellow color. Says it goes with her NFL team.

I live off the grid in a VERY remote spot in Colorado. I have now been using Champion generators exclusively for at least 12 years. The tech support has been outstanding. The generators have preformed beyond expectations. My newest one, just received, arrived in mint condition. Remote start, 7500 running watts of power. Could not be happier. I know they are made in China. I factor that in. but their support line is so superior that it makes up for it. The manufacture seems to be above scale as all of the Champions I have had are in great condition, with no missing parts or shoddy workmanship. I recommend. ... show more

Generator only ran for about 6 hours before the engine froze. Didnt even make it thru the break in period. Repair shop confirmed that it cannot be repaired and that Champion was not a dependable brand. Now I have a shiny new worthless generator and will have to purchase something else. Maybe I got a lemon...but not willing to waste my money again. ... show more

I bought the generator to run a water well (required 240) and a large RV (required 120). The product was well packaged and only took 5 minutes to get up and running. The wheels installed easily and it came with the right amount of engine oil and a funnel. It stated on first click of the electric starter. It held around 6 gallons of gas and run for about 9 hours. The remote fob allowed me to turn of the generator from inside the RV. So far, I am very happy with this generator. ... show more

easy to assemble, box came with a lot of damage to it, high altitude jet simple to change, the shroud on the control panel was damaged on one corner (doesnot effect the units running capability). added oil and fuel, then noticed the fuel gage does not work. unit runs good but is a little noisier than expected. champion and/or delivery people need to be more on top of this sort of thing. ... show more
