This backpack works great. The bag that I received is different from what's shown in the product listing, with many improvements. The odd white piping around the top of the secondary pocket is gone, which makes it look much more normal. Also, instead of 2 secondary pockets, my bag has a single larger pocket that can expand out about an inch. And, I'm happy to see the addition of some crisscrossed bungee rope across the top of the bag, which is perfect for holding a wet windbreaker or anything too big for the main pocket. At the very top, near the handle, there's a tiny pocket with a soft lining that's perfect for sunglasses. There's also some slick, heavier duty fabric on the bottom that seems to resist water, too. My bag retains the mesh side pockets on both sides that fit a huge water bottle. Also, I really like the mesh on the back - it has some padding, but it also gives some ventilation. On the interior, the features are rather spartan. The laptop pocket in the main compartment works well. It has good padding on the sides, but I wish there was a bit more on the bottom. And, in the secondary compartment, there are a few flat pockets sewn in.

I ordered this backpack for my 13-year-old who tends to like neutral colors for his bags and accessories. He liked the simple, classic appearance (as do I). Overall, the bag itself is the quality I would expect at this price point: not overly flimsy, but not overly sturdy or durable, either. The outer material feels significantly higher-quality than the inner. The "laptop sleeve" is a single layer of thin fabric, as are the compartments for office supplies in the smaller front pocket. These feel like they will snag or tear if a sharp pencil is stored in them, and I don't think they will hold up to heavy use. Fortunately, my son is in cyber school and only needs a bag occasionally for extracurriculars. If this was his daily backpack in middle school, I think it would wear out quicker than I'd like. From the exterior, though, the bag is nice for the cost. So if the overall structure of the bag is most important (which I think it is), then I'd recommend this one. But be aware that the inner storage sleeves are pretty thin.

This is a decent sized medium backpack for $24.87 at the time of writing this review. The quality is reflected in the price, being it's not going to hold up over time. Expect to get 6 months to a year out of it under lite to normal conditions. If your needs require heavy use and durable stitching, this is definitely not the item to purchase! There's not much padding and the material is thin. I would expect more from a name brand item, but unfortunately this backpack doesn't represent a true value for the price.

I grabbed the Champion Luna Backpack in black as a no-fuss daily pack and it's been a dependable companion. The padded shoulder straps fit comfortably even when I’m loaded down with a 13″ laptop and a water bottle, thanks to its dedicated sleeve and side pocket. The main compartment opens wide and there's a front zip pocket that’s perfect for stashing keys and a phone—just enough organization without feeling overpacked. The nylon material feels sturdy and cleans up easily after accidental spills. It’s not oversized (around 18×12×6.5 in), so if you're hauling gym gear and groceries in one go, you'll want something larger. But for commuting, classes, or weekend outings, it strikes a great balance at a friendly price. One small gripe: the zippers aren’t buttery smooth, so be gentle there. But overall, it's a refreshing step up from basic school backpacks.

Thrilled with this! It's a great, durable bag, that's perfect for smaller cargo. Its comfortable to wear all day walking, and doesnt look half bad. Can't ask for more from a backpack. Took it on a morning hike and didn't let us down.

I use it for work and it holds alot . I get a lunch bag , wallet...glasses. lots of pockets for my pens and a note pad . Padded shoulder straps feel nice on the shoulder. Recommend.

I ordered this to use for a simple backpack to carry a laptop. I did not need it to be heavy duty or have a lot of of different features, but to be honest this backpack is disappointing. I have just done a bunch of cost comparisons of backpacks that are typically used by teenagers to bring their Chromebook to school in order to judge this and to write this review. This is on the lower end of the backpack price range, but I don’t think it is worth the risk because to save a small amount of money it’s risking breaking the laptop or Chromebook. The padding that would touch the laptop and go against your back is minimal, the padding at the bottom where the laptop sits is minimal (not enough). There is no padding on the inside of the backpack that touches the laptop compartment. There are hardly any pockets and places to put things. See my photo showing where the pens can go. This is lacking a nice pen or small objects holding zipper area up near the top. This is just an extremely basic backpack and I don’t recommend using it to carry a laptop or Chromebook. I would a little more and protect my device so that I don’t wind up having to replace my own laptop or pay a school a large amount of money (up to $250 where I taught) for damage accidentally done that may damage a school-owned Chromebook or laptop.

I like the size of this backpack and the minimalist design. The shoulder straps are comfortable and there’s room (a sleeve) for a laptop. It could hold a few books or small bag of groceries. I’d say it’s a Goldilocks backpack-not too small, not too big, but just the right size for a teen or adult.
