I am 6'3" and close to 200lbs, but the seat on this fits fairly well. The stirrups are throwaways no doubt, but since they are not fixed to the pad, you can swap on whatever you want without issue. The girth and related straps are seatbelt-style material, and the girth connections come with two straps in case you want to use a double billet English girth. For my horse, this thing fit surprisingly well. He is a 17.2hh high withered OTTB, and despite his prominent spine and shoulder, the pad sat well around his back with plenty of room in the cinch to adjust. Initial quality is quite good, but have yet to really put it through its paces and wash as well, so only time can tell as to it's durability. ... show more

Quality seems good and comfortable. I got it because my horse sometimes spooks and I want to feel more secure then a regular barebackpad. I feel secure in this pad! Very comfortable. Only wish the space between the black butt cushion and front cushion was a bit more . Other than that worth it!!

    • Cinch issues

It is a good saddle very well made, but the cinch is in the wrong place, it goes around the horses belly instead of up further under the front legs. Which makes the saddle, loosen, and young rider can fall off.
