I use this pad with a custom made endurance saddle. Love it! Stays put. My new mare is really hard to fit. I had a saddle custom built for her. This pad is perfect. Provided plenty of protection and is not bulky. I am trail rider and do lots of steep hills.

Spine length wither area 26 inches to the end vs 6 inches down it is 32 inches to the end. Because of this the pad is way too long for my short back Paso. Wish the extra measurement was listed. Now I have to return it. Otherwise I love the pad.
