This mattress has really been a great surprise for the cost. My partner prefers a firm traditional spring / hybrid mattress and is a back or stomach sleeper. I have slept on foam for over a decade and am a side sleeper only. So - a hard compromise to find something within budget. This mattress has been wonderful for both of us. For a foam / gel mattress it is definitely on the firm side - but it is extremely supportive (in a good way) Don’t be fooled by the first week of use, it really does adapt to your body , I’ll admit I was a little sore on my ribs at first - but now it is so cozy and my hips don’t ache like with my old memory foam super soft bed. Upon arrival the mattress expanded fully quickly - we let it breathe for about 14 hours before using it. It measured 14 inches without any misshapen corners. Absolutely no smell. I bought this mattress to replace my old hybrid mattress about a month ago. After using it for a few weeks now, I can provide an honest review. It arrived quickly, in good condition and it was so easy to set up. The black cloth gives it a modern feel, and the scale was very accurate once it inflated to the full 8 inch mattress as described. I bought the medium and it's very comfortable, however, if I were to buy another, I would probably get the firm for my personal preference. I sleep so soundly and there is practically no motion transfer. I wanted a lower profile than my previous 18 inch, but I wish I had ordered the 10 inch instead. Overall, a great buy! ... show more

I had high hopes with this mattress but it's very uncomfortable. I think it was a defective mattress so this is just my experience. I ordered the cal king. There is literally a hump I the middle of the mattress. Whenever I roll over in bed to cuddle with my husband and vice versa we have roll over this hump. Its like two big sunk in spots on each side and a big hump in the middle. We've rotated it every month for even wear and year but still the same. Im disappointed. The good thing is I put in for a refund after 3 months. They are going to come pick up the mattress and give me a full refund so I can choose another mattress. That im thankful for. We paid a little over $300. I know it's not much but should stoll be somewhat comfortable and this mattress isn't. Hope this review helps. ... show more

I didn't know how firm it would be but was very surprised it was perfectly firm for me and I like a firm mattress for my back. The loss of ‘review stars’ is due solely to the fact that the bed still hasn’t expanded to 14 inches. It’s what I ordered. It’s what the box promised. It’s what the tag on the mattress promised. It’s still only risen to 12” after over a week. It’s very comfortable and sure beats the 2 twin XLs we used to have, so I’m not upset with the overall quality of the build. Amazon offered a 30% discount-refund without skipping a beat; which I opted for rather than a product replacement. I simply bought bed risers and a bed skirt with the refunded money and still the total cost was less than the $459 the product was selling for in February of 2025.
