I bought this as a pregnancy-safe retinol alternative to treat the scarring I have left behind after all my first trimester breakouts. As long as I follow the bottle instructions of applying it every day, morning & night, I see a real difference in my redness and scarring…but if I forget to apply it even ONCE, I feel like all of it comes right back and my skin is left almost back where I started.
