I’ve tried several cervical pillows, some expensive, and this one is my favorite. I was concerned by reviews noting it being firm yet soft. I have pressure sensitive ears and a sensitive scalp. Cervical pillows labeled firm have caused me pain. The shape looks gimmicky, too. If you have pressure sensitive ears, this pillow is GREAT. The middle button isn’t a gimmick after all. No more waking up from ear pain! I agree with others’ “firm yet soft” assessment. The pillow gently cradles my head and firmly supports my head and neck at the same time. There is no harsh stiffness to the pillow anywhere. It doesn’t bother my scalp, ears, or jaw. It’s delightfully soothing and comfortable. The two longer sides are designed differently which allows the pillow to accommodate a variety of body shapes and shoulder widths for side-sleepers. This pillow is a winner for me. It’s a bonus that the price is modest as well.

So far so good. I mostly got this bc I'm a side sleeper and was tired of the regular pillows always deflating over time. I was hoping I would be able to just use a single pillow, but unfortunately, this pillow is not high enough for how I like to lay so I still have to use something under it which is why I deducted a star. BUT it is a very comfortable pillow. I've only been using it for a few days now but it's been good so far. Thought there would be an adjustment time to get used to the contours but nope. Also, I THINK I have pressure induce ear aches on my right ear and so far. I'd usually get woken up in the middle of the night from my ear just killing me if I laid on that side too long and so far, absolutely nothing. No ear aches at all. SO happy about that.

This pillow was an awesome replacement to another foam pillow that I had. My right shoulder pain has subsided, I sleep gently through the whole evening. It is very comfortable and has several different positions. You can use depending on your sleep habits. Excellent product.
